My dps is currently 2200. Is this my REAL dps? or does this game calculate it wrong? Since i feel like dealing a lot more dmg than 2200 :/

Someone told me i would have to do it times 2-3 approx. But is this true?? That would mean you would have 28-42k dps!!! Which is INSANE! :D (well, insane for me and insane for the "cheap non 550 dps weapon build")


Extra question: What if we swap out lifeleech for life on hit? Vs whole packs of monsters this would be greatly beneficial, but how about vs bosses?
What about vaal pact with lifeleech nerf for this build?

You are loosing DPS from your 5L colour set up. for 5L you need 3reds to put in Weapon Elemental Damage and take out FA. WED is major in this build due to the auras.

FA is the final step , only if u get a 6L.
Try to get out Life Leech, FA and swap with a high level WED to check it out...(with the auras active !)

Shit, I already went the Path of Life Nodes and got Path of the Warrior on the way to Resolution Technique. I'm going to need to refund 19 passives to fix my build. Is it worth it or should I just reroll? I"m lvl 45 and it took me 23 hours 57 minutes to get that far.

It looks like I'm going to have to reroll eventually, but I think I'll wait until there's a consensus on the optimal build and character class. Is the one by the OP the best?

Don't worry.
You just need to respec 4-5 points in the scion life tree, and if so in the long term..
I think the difference in a final build between the old Scion life circle, and the new long way for Thick Skin, is just to give some life boost. However in the new build your loosing some dps, and you can keep half the scion cycle (the 3 nodes giving 22% max life) and refund in the future just the other right life cycle points including path of the warrior. You can go for Sentinel and Berseking and have better DPS.

This way on the right side, u don't go for Thick skin, u 'll stop in Finesse(but take this).
You loose the 34% max life from these far away 3 nodes of Thick skin (need 7 points from finnesse to thick skin), but :

1)u get 22% from the left scion circle+ something more if needed, so not big loss.
2)u get Bersecking nodes (18% more aps) + Sentinel (+24% Eva+10% resist)+24% Proj. Damage More !! (u dont any of these staff in the new build...! extra damage -assuming u will have also finnese as well)


What i mean is , if u cant afford a lagre respec, u can go for somthing like this :

+2 points for Finnesse, + 5 points for Written In Blood.

Also the 5 Strength nodes saved towards RT in the new build, we give them to 3 awfull ES nodes + 2 intelligence, just to bridge with the left side of the new build.....

I am running the "old" build above, and i am usually with :
Wrath + Anger + Haste + Purity of Elements + Vitality
(depending on gear, if i am capped at all 3 resistances with purity of Elements, i run Vitality as the 5th aura)

So I'm levelling the Ranger version of this



And I'm having to level with a bow because of lack of strength (for ST) early on. However, this build works just fine with a bow and lightning arrow. Makes me think....how viable is a bow-version of this in end-game?

Maybe LA+WED+FA+BM+LL/LGOH+Added Lightning, maybe. You could 5L easily (and a lot more cheaply).

This also allows Frenzy+FA+BM+LL on a 4-link for serious single-target damage, for those bosses that don't bring friends.

Also not sure with LGOH is > LL with the new LL nerf. Any thoughts on this?

I'm not sure for ST but for LA LGoH is and has been way better than LL.
