Fingerless is the best base. For the process, it depends on your budget, and whether or not you want unnerve as well. For mid budget with unnerve (this is what I have), I'd suggest making do with crafted mana.


You can make this item as follows:

1. Buy ilvl 85 fingerless gloves, warlord or hunter influence, and any gloves with the other influence. Combine with awakener orb.
2. Alt spam for Culling Strike, make sure the other junk affixes can be removed. Remove any prefixes that share a type with your desired resists.
3. Use aug defenses to fill up prefixes if necessary, then remove/add for your desired resists. Suffixes should now be full.
4. Remove all the junk prefixes.
6. Remove/add life until you hit an acceptable tier of flat life.
7. Remove/add caster until you hit unnerve, should be very easy to get.
8. Craft flat mana.

If you want actual T1 mana, you pretty much need to start with it. That means getting dual influence gloves (if you want unnerve) and alt or fossil spamming it until T1 mana, then crafting it out from there. The crazy expensive part comes when you try to get culling strike, which can only be done with remove/add influence. You can slightly improve your odds by crafting cannot roll attack mods, but it's still going to take an average of over 30 attempts. If you plan to try this, make sure to go for culling strike while your prefixes are full, and all non-influence affixes.

This gloves are really good? Cause I am very poor ( this is my first league ever, I play PoE for like 45 days) and was saving currency to buy a Bottled Faith, now I just don't know what to do! Hahaha

Yeah even though Fingerless is the best base it is also an INT base which gives you a deeper "non-removable" pool.

Its not that big of a deal though. Gloves were one of the first pieces I made and I did not have a lot of currency. Hardest part with these crafts will be to annul off non-removable suffixes with harvest crafting. However I think its not as expensive as annuling after alt spam. That's the main reason why I did not get culling strike on mine as its a lot easier to spam misery until you can annul off suffixes and slap resists.

The chances of getting an unremoveable affix is still quite low. If you're alt spamming for culling strike, then it's just the single prefix or the regal that could go wrong which is unlikely. Even if it does happen, you have a good shot at fixing it with annul or beastcraft. It may also be wort it to imprint before the regal. And if all that fails, just start over. At ~70c avg of alt spamming to hit culling it's quite easy to get.

If you're misery spamming for culling strike it's certainly a bigger deal, but at that point you're already crafting at a very high budget and you can probably afford to deal with it.

So I think I'm missing something here and I hope I can learn something with your help. Oh, I misunderstood you. What I was describing was to not include natural flat mana at all. Like with my version of the gloves, I simply crafted flat mana, which is 54 mana vs T1 mana of 73. This is close enough for me considering the extremely high cost and time investment required to get natural T1 (or essence) mana combined with culling strike. The value of culling strike FAR FAR outweighs 19 mana.

Looking over ozark's character made me realize that empower is a great 4th link for arcane cloak. With an empower 4, a level 21 gem, and a +1 lightning gems from one of my weapons this gets me to level 25 which hits a breakpoint to increase the lightning damage bonus from 15% to 16% of mana used. This comes out to a pretty massive 7.5% DPS increase for me. If you don't have helm enchant, it will be a bit less.

With a lot of currency you can also buy a 49% increased damage cloak and 6 link it corrupted for a nice dmg boost.
