3.9| Stress-Free PoE - DODGING CYCLONE |SSF the Atlas w/ 1 Button & Any Gear|Dungeon Crawl PoE!

As always I love the concept of thine builds. Henceforth I grew curious.

Between your current builds, which one would you affirm to have the most survivability? Especially compared to the ease of play of each?

Oh I know that trick - but I'm not going to try 6 linking it. I don't have that type of currency or luck.

I'll just play around with the cheap corrupted 6-link I was able to grab.

It's nice to have a farming goal other than completing challenges.

Sorry, I dind't mean to sound like a a smartass. I just wanted to share something I had learned myself.

Good luck with your maps, exile![/quote]

Oh hey not at all - sorry didn't mean anything like that.

I totally used that trick to off color all my other gear :)

We're all good here.

It was helpful. I didn't know that trick. Thanks. :)

I'm glad I could help. Learning this trick somewhere on this forum was like seeing the light. Suddenly I realized that I could get any desired colors on any base-item. Dexterity-based gloves/helmets/boots with blue/blue/blue/red? Easy. Saved me so many chromatic orbs and so much frustration :D

You are right. There is so much patience, friendliness and mutual aid here in Wrecker_of_Days' threads. I do enjoy reading this part of the forum.
Overwhelmed by Path of Exile? You might want to have a look at Wrecker_of_Days' beginner-friendly guides. One-click-wonders that do not require any specific items to conquer the campaign and the Atlas: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2606288/page/1
Just came to share my appreciation of the build. I have been playing Cyclone (RT Slayer), SRS Necromancer or LazyPally by Sovyn each league, simply because I cannot be bothered (read - too dumb to play) anything that requires more than 2 buttons, one of which needs to be pressed only seldom.

This league I decided to do something different with my Cyclone and initially wanted to revisit Raider Ngamahu cyclone and browsing the forum I came across this build as well. The idea and concept was appealing to me and I went for it with the caveat that I can always spend some currency and "respec" out of it into Ngamahu.

But boy, am I so not doing that! I have to say at the beggining the guide did not look like much, but the skill tree is really planned so great that it allows you to both pick nice mix of survivability and damage no matter which way you go, so I never had the feeling of missing out on certain node - the next great upgrade was just around the corner.

This is my first time playing a build that is not dependent on any unique, can do pretty much anything in gear and seems to be just incredible fun in terms of planning upgrades and having stuff to look forward.

So yeah. Still A10 to finish and run 3 labs (just shows you how good the build is that I can easily cruise through A10 with only normal lab and not feel hindered). But I think this will be the only build I will play this league and cannot wait to see where I can take it.

And that's about it. Nothing else but long-winded thank you and appreciation to Wrecker for coming up with this build and guide.

Going to be running this for my first PS4 run at POE, kind of excited.

I used to play on pc on different account but pc blew up. I have tried a couple of your builds on pc successfully in various leagues before.

So figured it would be a good place to start on PS4.

Thank you as always for your hard work in putting these guides together, it's very much appreciated.
Hey RiverGenie!

Awesome! I love PoE on console! I hope it's gone well for you so far. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for taking the time to be encouraging! I appreciate it.

Hi there. First, great guide! I'm using it as my league starter, I think it's beginner friendly (I can safely state that since I'm a beginner myself), which is great.

One thing I was wondering about, gear related, is whether you have any suggestions in terms of unique items-- any particular items that would boost the build's capabilities?

Thank you for putting this together!
Hey earnid!

Thanks :). I'm glad you've found the guide to be helpful! Good stuff.

Regarding uniques, I actually don't pay any attention to uniques at all. I'm so into Rares that I skip the "Uniques" section in all the patch notes. I know that there were some Vaal Claws that had some great phasing perks, but you'd have to change the tree around to use them. Sorry I'm not much help here. I'd load the unique pages on the wiki and "Ctrl F" "Phas" or "Dodg".

Let us know how it goes here! Feedback from beginners is just as valuable as feedback from the experienced. I hope you're having fun!

Hey Dakmathos!

As always, you're very kind. Thanks again :).

But damn you for making me choose! ;)

I really don't know. The minion build is more trying to avoid damage completely but it's really easy to do with all the minions. The RF build can tank anything but needs to be picky with map mods because of RF degen. The Vortex build is really hard to die in if you're comfortable with flasks (burning and bleed). Trigger Happy is the tankiest but isn't as mobile as the 5 other builds making it vulnerable when still. The Scion plays exactly like the Vortex character but doesn't have CI, which means it can use flasks...but it doesn't have as good of defence. Dodging Cyclone has so many defensive perks that people don't notice while playing (like being immune to elemental ailments) while also being very.....

I DON'T KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except for Trigger Happy they all just run around without stopping having a similar playstyle...

Maybe RF because it is always regening life along with its tankiness?

Ok ok ok ok. Final answer:

I have no clue.

Aweosme post Rahana!

I like hearing where people come from and where they're going (in life, but also in PoE ;)). That was great to read. Thanks for taking the time to be so encouraging. Thank you.

Let us know how the build goes as you progress into maps and such. All feedback is good feedback.

(I found it impossible to go back to revolving around unique items after I made my first Rare Only build. The loot drop hype was too exciting to be without.

Thanks again!

Hi WoD,

First of all thanks for your builds!

I played Blight with the SlowMo Zombies and it was fun and powerful. This league, I started with a Necro Spectres and it’s nice but my second character will be Cyclone Ranger (altoholic inside).
I started playing with your PoB and will try something with:
- Cyclone with the supports you defined
- Auras (identical)
- CWDT Ball lightning for curse
- Berserk Blood rage Holy Relic (self cast)
- Whirling Blades (like it a lot)
- Shrapnel Ballista for bosses

I like this idea of a Cycloning Ranger with support from Ballistas!
I’m not sure it will be tanky enough and I’m not fixed on Shrapnel Ballista supports but I will try (need game time...).

Here is my idea: https://pastebin.com/DReQE189

Keep up the good work!
