aight im back to doing this build. jeeeez the league changes are crazy. by far best defense is to stay ranged, kite, and not get hit. TR raider can't be beat in that department.
my league starter was getting molested. i wanna go back to him, but no good as a starter. |

impale shrapnel ballista champion. it'll still be good(maybe), but it needs gear. as a starter in SSF....

So, I'm not sure if it is because of caustic arrow buff.. But i'm clearing maps in seconds using it with arrow nova.. For the metamorph boss I change the nova for swift affliction and melt it.. Toxic arrow is not keeping up with single target damage.. I might be doing something wrong, but did you guys try it out?

caustic arrow has immediate damage application, it is higher damage up front, like it clears trash very well - toxic rain has a ramp up of damage. but once you ramp that damage up it does way more DPS than CA.
before the 3.9 CA buff i played a very well optimized CA trickster in betrayal. max dps i could get was 1.2m shaper dps at the time. in ssf blight my toxic rain dps was max of over 8m, but probably a realistic application of 4-5m shaper dps. all depends on what you prefer. it would be nice if CA was buffed even more honestly, because even to get the 1m dps mark you typically cannot use any support that gives less damage, like the arrow nova support. of course theres no reason why you can't use both, either. main cast caustic arrow and use a 4-6l TR ballista setup. it would be great to keep things from moving out of your CA puddle with its slow. and of course more damage Editado por útlima vez por xMustard en 14 dic. 2019 18:29:38

ya this build is so good in metamorph. i swapped to caustic arrow just cause i wanted to feel more tanky and have some immediate damage application, but bosses take much much longer than TR.
plus i haven't gotten lucky with TR gear, and its more suited for CA right now. i will say this. the totem nodes i like to get (Totemic Zeal) are completely unnecessary now, other than for totem duration which is pretty nice. however with that much totem placement speed, you'll actually place totems TWICE without even trying to because its just so fast |
