!!!WARNING!!! - DX11 (DirectX 11) drivers
For those of you nvidia users who switched to dx9 from 11 because of crashing. How many hours of playtime would you estimate you have played crash free for? Also how often would you crash before with dx11?

Currently no problem running with this setting:- Spec:- Intel C2D 8400E 3.0ghz; 4GB RAM; Sapphire AMD R9 280 Dual-X 3GB. PathOfExile_64.exe (<== try this guys by running manually) DirectX11 Windowed or Windowed Full-screen V-sycn, Dynamic fps @14 - ON 8X Ansio. The rest are generally low settings. I think PathOfExile_64.exe should make the difference. Perm. Retired from this unforgiving land of the Exiles.

This really stinks. I have a very high end system, DX12 the latest nVidia drivers and as soon as I get into the new Ascent level within less than 2 minutes, lock... back out to main screen.

DX11 kills this game. Change resolution computer freezes, alt tab back into game computer freeze. I'll never trust DX11 ever again.

I've an nVidia GTX680M and prior to 3.0, it ran FLAWLESS, never a single crash or system issue.
Since 3.0: - alt-tab to desktop can sometimes crash PoE - sound started crackling w/ static (audio changed from High to Med, seems to fix) - 16-bit graphics, turned off Dynamic GGG, I have faith in thee, please address ASAP! |

AMD FX8350/HD7870 - 17.7.2
Vsync On Dynamic Resolution On Water Detail High Shadows Low Texture Medium Trilinear Filtering MSAA x4 DX11 Engine Multithreading Enabled First day I had some flickering issues but disabling Dynamic Resolution seemed to fix these. Now it's re-enabled and I have not had any other issues. DX11 has always worked better for me since it was enabled. DX9(ex) Just cause frame time and fps silliness, makes the game more or less unplayable. |

" The 32 or 64 bit client is chosen, based on whether you use Dx9(ex) or DX11. The DX9 clients are 32 bit, DX11 is 64 bit. |

I have an Nvidia GTX 980 and I noticed the game was a bit choppy. I opened Nvidia Experience and optimized PoE and started it from there. Works great, everything moves nice and smooth. Not sure if this will help others, but it can't hurt to try if you have an Nvidia card.

" Since patch 2.6, I run off PathOfExile_64.exe directly, instead of the client.exe that would run PathOfExile.exe somehow. I never have any serious crash on my win7 Ultimate other than dced. (crash only when it reach the ram limit). Currently i m also trying on my win7 home prem laptop. No crashes yet except artifact in Act2 Northern Forest. (the trees) BTW i have Engine Multithread @ OFF. Perm. Retired from this unforgiving land of the Exiles.
