" Bulldust............. Radeon R9-380, Core I5 (and some numbers), 32GIG ram............ VERY VERY VERY smooth............................ I am a bit pissed that GGG managed to totally royally fart up the passive system (Bandits etc) with existing characters. |

Radeon R7 370 here, running at everything maxed (but post processing off as a personal preference) and a Borderless Window.
Using the fairly recent 17.7.2 driver package, Win 10 64 bit and an AMD FX-6120. No crashes since launch of FoO for me using DX11, in fact the game runs smoother than it ever has (no lag when larger amounts of mobs spawn) and save for my Internet connection being the worst and the infamous misbehaving GGG router that affected everyone, I've had no issues. I went past the areas some listed as crashing for them here as well. This does not seem to be universal as far as AMD chips go, but seeing as some have had issues with chips newer than mine, it's hard to find a concrete reason just from here. Hope it gets fixed for you guys asap. |

" "nvidia are heating less" doesn't even make sense and was all I was referring to. I'm on a 1080 with no issues. My last AMD card was a 7870 and it was fantastic ( at the time) I really dislike people who had a /insert GPU at some point so they think they have enough info to talk. Stuff like " I had a 1800x 14 years ago, wasn't a good experience" "" AMD sucks", or "AMD overheats get Nvidia", it's all the same misinformative nonsense from noobs. AMD's cards don't overheat unless you got a bad case, with bad air flow and/ or don't have the know how to set a custom fan profile. I know this even as my last AMD card was a 7870 as I browse tech sites and forums 2 hours a day 24/7. I believe there was a DX11 issue with PoE, but "heating less" with Nvidia...wot? heat isn't a issue. If it is you're doing it wrong. " Nonsense on the nonsense - 3.0 game release was unstable for me and would randomly lock up and then crash with a message about the video card/driver. Since I had heard about the problems (and experienced it a couple times in the beta) I switched from DX-11 to DX 9 and the errors stopped. I'm running the game off of an SSD, with an I7 and 32G of ram, so I wouldn't suspect that end would be the problem, even if I hadn't seen the specific message. I am using a Radeon video card though. " To be honest, that's why I switched to Nvidia. I got sick of hear that line. "We're pilgrims in an unholy land."
