Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

I only started a few weeks ago but this was my choice for build this League. I'm enjoying it a lot - Enki could you take a peak at my character (Sinularia) ; Obviously I am working on skill gems at the moment (having just upgraded them with prisms to Qual 20s). The gloves and Amulet are the most recent additions. Cheers

As a beginner/casual player im really enjoying playing this build.
It's great fun.
As a beginner I'm quite overwhelmed with all the loots/recipes/gems and gear.
I'm trying to stick to your leveling guide and i don't know if my gear and gem setup is good.

came across this build the other week and fell DEEPLY in love with it. the way you can just wipe out mobs of trash in less than a split seccond is just amazing. aswell, the gear isnt actually the spendy to buy if you cannot afford the full 6link setups if you settle for 5links.


because of that i seem to have a small problem with ruffly 3/4ths of bosses in maps. im not sure if im doing something wrong or my gem setup is messed up because i could only get 5 link gear or if i messed up a stat in the Passive tree.

At lvl80 some bosses in maps i can just stand there and not even move and tank it till they drop wich is AMAZING to see actualy working. but most others....... you get taken down almost too fast for my liking and im forced to group up with buddies just to beat most map bosses. it seems just about any boss that has a AOE effect (not the one shot attacks but actual normal moves like "firestorm") just take your health down in less than a split seccond if your not fast enuff to actually hit a flask or react and move out of the way.

other problems ive had is not with abyss's themselfs but going inside the depths. RARLY can this build actually do the insides of a depths in maps without dieing or actually killing the totem in the time limit. its actually discuraging to even enter them if one spawns because of how often you die in them with this build. once again im not sure if im doing something wrong with the build or if its prone to failing ruffly 60-70% of them because of running out of mana witch in return kills your health.

witch brings me to my 3rd and final problem im having..running out of mana. ive collected all of the passive perks but one or two (in the middle of grinding out a few lvl's to get them last perks for mana regen) you stated to grab for that issue but it seems to just get worse and worse of a problem the farther into maps i get. and i only have this problem with map bosses and abyss depths

TLDR: i love the build but having a few minor problems keeping me from ecelling into higher teir maps. was wondering if you can take a look at my build and gem setup/passive tree and give me a few tips on how to play the build better or correctly/or what i need to or should change out to make this build not die from no mana and to actually kill bosses in maps. its the Darkjesusmn_arcwitch

@ZROGST: Gear looks alright, what needs work is your flask setup and jewels. Switch to the recommended flask setup and replace your Assassins Haste and Hazardous Research with proper rare jewels.

@Meshnak: Thanks! Just as reassurance, your gear looks fine for leveling.

@DarkJesusMN: The issue lies in the detail here, i'll go over it one by one.

Your Sorrow of the Divine applies Zealot's Oath, which applies your life regeneration to Energy Shield instead and with that pretty much wastes it all. Better replace that flask with a regular Sulphur Flask.
Your Basalt Flask is missing the Chemist's prefix and quality, my advice is scour the flask, put on 4 Glassblower Baubles (they give 5% each on white flasks) and then try to craft it.

The Empower gems in both of your setups are currently not doing anything at Lv1. If your budget allows it buy some corrupted Lv3 Empowers, although i recommend Controlled Destruction over Empower on Ball Lightning.

Your Shock Nova and Warlord's Mark in the CwDt-setup do basically nothing. Shock is calculated by damage dealt, a Lv1 Shock Nova won't do enough damage to surpass even the minimum treshold. Warlord's Mark will constantly get overridden by Conductivity from Kitava procs. You could rather put a golem in here, other options would be Decoy Totem or Vaal Clarity to help with bossfights. Just keep in mind the latter can't be procced, so you have to selfcast them.

Last thing you can do is using Spirited Response. Put it where your Careful Planning is socketed right now, and put that one into the other jewel socket. This will greatly help with sustaining your mana at bosses.

That being said, through recent feedback i get that the mana issues are very real for many players, and they will get my highest priority to work around for the next big patch. I assume Necromancer and/or Bone Offering to get nerfed in some way, so this build will probably get reworked anyway.

wow ty for the fast responce, i did everything you said, and i now feel like a god tbh. just did 5 abyss's and one of them was a litch, did it just fine no deaths inside a lvl 12 map at lvl 80.


Good work on this build. just outstanding.


if possible i would take a seccond look at my build and possibly mark it down for people who cannot afford the FULL 6s 6l setup but CAN afford the 5s 5l setup. with this 5link it seems to work verrrrrrrrrrry well now with your reccomendations.

I started this game about a week ago and this is my first build!

Currently lvl 87 and really enjoying it, but the problem I'm coming across is that I die, a lot. Obviously my quality of gear isn't as good because I simply don't have the currency, but I'm basically running your exact setup except for the unique ring, cause I simply can't lose the resists on them. Resistances are capped, 68/69% block chance with bone offering up(trying to find gear to cap it).

I'm mostly running t8-t10 at the moment and I'm struggling so hard staying alive. Especially bosses are a nightmare. Any tips on what to improve?

I currently have about 100 chaos to spend. Clearly not enough to get a 6l inpulsa/pledge. But the main problem I'm facing is just dying all the time,not damage.

I find it really hard to cap my resistance at 75%

@Faesroll: I can see why bosses are so difficult for you, your Ball Lightning setup is missing Life Leech and it's not above 100 mana cost according to Path of Building, so you're also missing Bone Offering in bossfights. Since a 6L Inpulsas isn't within your budget currently, i'd recommend just get a regular 6L chest for now and try to 6L your Inpulsas in the meantime, or save up for a 6L one.
ALternatively you could buy a second 5L Pledge and put your Ball Lightning in there for a pseudo-6L with the disadvantage of having to switch all the time.

Your tree is also a bit off. This would give you more Life, Mana and Mana Regen, another jewel socket and the AoE nodes will improve your single-target by allowing each casted Ball Lightning to damage for a longer time. Put a Careful Planning in the jewel socket near MoM for all your Dex needs, and Spirited Response up at the witch socket.

Overflowing Chalice is also kinda wasted, better get a regular Sulphur Flask with the proper affixes.
If you level further i would also recommend the Alchemist passives cluster, it will further amplify and prolong duration of your flasks.

so i just hited 90 with this build and i decided i wont lvl any other build and want to push this to max. Could u take a look at my character? Sustaining mana isn't issue no more since i swapped onslaught with mana leech but i'm feeling lack of damage. Also is there big difference from using 20 lvl arc from 21+3 arc?
