Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

This is my first character coming back to the game after a long break and I'm really enjoying the build and I've progressed farther than I ever have before.

Character: NoxAlpha

I'm struggling with my weapon (6L Eclipse Staff in my 2nd weapon slot, ignore its gems) and how to effectively upgrade it so its better than the 2 random wands I'm using. I used a Shrieking Essence of Spite to get +2 Lightning and it rolled with 72% spell damage as well. Beyond that, I'm not sure what to do now. I'm still working on leveling up my masters, they're mostly Lvl. 6, so I may just need to wait to do anything until they're 7+, but assuming that's coming asap, any advice on how to improve this weapon would be really appreciated.

Also if anything else stands out as a mess in my build, you can chime in on that as well, but most things are self found and works in progress.

@Enki91 I think you should point up on the ''gems setup'' part, that if you want to autocast bone offering it shouldn't be level 20 but level 8 max (38required), i guess you have it 20 because you didn't link it on autocast when damage.

For the rest the build is pretty nice, i've been running it on my first char :)

can i keep bone offering at lvl 8 so that it auto casts with cwdt? or does this impact the block chance to much

Not only does it impact the block chance quite a lot (6%) but the heal becomes negligible (you heal for 81hp at lvl8 vs 594 at lvl20).
This gem really should be leveled as high as possible, just gotta cast it yourself if you don't use kitava's thirst.

First of all i want to thank you a lot for the guide! This helps me a lot as a new player and the act by act guide is so helpful. Enjoying this game a lot because of it, since it's a bit intimidating.

I do have one question though and this might have been asked before, but i can't seem to search through the thread in an easy manner. Where exactly do i get the dex from to use Desecrate? I almost finished Act 4, but i can't level my gem to lvl 2, since i can't wield it anymore after that. I only have 14 natural dex and i see that during the end game the gem requires 98 dex. Now i can get an amulet that lets me wield it at lvl 2, but more than that will be hard.

I might be missing some obvious stuff/mechanics here, but looking over the gear they don't offer any bonus dex. Sorry if this is a very noobish question, but since i am one hopefully that is ok.

You do not actually need to lvl desecrate past lvl1, since we only need it for the corpses it creates.
However you will need more dex for slower projectiles later on, for that you can use the unique jewel "Careful Planning" (it's cheap) which turns nearby intelligence nodes into dex ones, there's also a 30dex node that you can take.

Whats the bandit choice for this build?

First of all, huge thanks to Trudorc for taking care of some questions while i was busy! I'll go over anything that wasn't answered yet now:

@Lolis_Daisuki: No more gear on your char, i guess you moved to a new build already?

@woodoodalas: IIRC he had a pretty tough buff combination at the time of your comment, so that may have contributed to the issue. You can try disabling his buffs if you just want to get it done, or wait for an easier buff combination to do fullkey runs. Trudorcs suggestion could also help.

Can't take a look at your gear since your character tab is private.

@BolbyCrooks: Just takes some time to get used to. You don't always need each of the buffs up, for regular mapping just keep Bone Offering up and proc Arcane Surge with Flame Dash between packs.
At bosses, start with Bone Offering (if there's corpses around), drop Orb of Storms, Rallying Cry if needed and then burst them down.

@nox9407: Just add cast speed and you're good. The issue with Eclipse Staves is the missing implicit block chance, so i wouldn't invest too much into crafting it since you may replace it at some point anyway.

On your gear i'd recommend to upgrade the boots, rare ring, amulet and helmet with something with more life, or recommend uniques for those slots if you can fit them in. Jewels can also mostly be replaced.

@zarif_ahnaf: Kill all.

would using enduring cry over rallying cry be a good choice? or is the mana regen and damage provided by rallying cry too important? my thinking was that enduring cry would be great for more survivability and its synergy with immortal call. Thoughts?

also, I was thinking about tweaking the build so that I would have arcane surge, flame dash, and orb of storms in my shield, and then putting in a decoy totem setup in the open four-link I would have. Would not using a stave impact my damage and block chance too much? And thank you very much for such a detailed guide and your continued help with your responses!
