CB scales to a very high degree based on monster base dmg, map properties, and monster properties. It is just a matter of time until you plow into an extra damage substantial phys aura extra fire damage rock on a non-trivial map and you will feel what CB really is. Mark my words.

I have no need to convince you, it works like that for all nemesis modifiers including storm herald and volatile. It was obvious in nemesis when elemental damage maps were done. CB and herald were far more dangerous.

I'm not even sure what you're debating. They're based on the autoattack damage of the enemy which is enhanced by elemental affixes. If you're really not convinced then PM Mark.

CB is much more dangerous than nearly any other mechanic in the game for me. Pretty much every death I have is to it. Running rf incinerate with faster casting, spell echo, faster projectiles, and gmp. I have less than a second to realize that what is causing the damage and hit the correct flask before I'm dead. I suppose reading the mods of the rare before attacking it would prevent all of my deaths, but this is tedious. Needs to be a cap to how fast you can gain stacks.
