Farming Uniques (Need guidance from the pros)

Yup, Its really just RNG. Ive gotten 4 uniques totally up until yesterday in well over 200 hours of play. Yesterday I got 2 uniques in less than 5 mins.

Unfotrunately 20 runs is a very small sample. Im not sure if youve played any other arpgs but in all the others ones (d1,d2,d3,Torchlight1,2) you could do 100 runs sometimes with no unique or good drop..then bam 3 or 4 things in a short period of time. Its just the nature of the beast in arpgs.

i remember doing 150-200 mf runs a day on d2 and being happy with one unique if that

it was more for the chase but it was always nice to get some loot

in path of exile u don't need to find uniques to build currency

magic , rare items, currency items, map items all drop

stop crying about not getting uniques and enjoy what you do get

or u can give me all the currency u find in 24h and i will give u all the uniqs i find in 24h if u want, i will guarantee the currency will be more valuable

I'm not sure why everyone is picking on the "small Sample Size" its been a total of 14 hours now. and still nothing. and no, I have never played any ARPGS.. all i know is with 450% rarity you should be able to find uniques. thats the function of this mod. if you do not find uniques then I do not know why did i waste alot of currency collecting the best MF gear ever known to man.

Finding Uniques is the only thing keeping me in the game. I have full items, seen everything.

You did it to increase your chances. RNG does not allow absolutes, luck still plays a part.

200% iir and 100% iiquantity i've read is just about idea. Thing of increased IIR as a reduced risk of getting a white because that's really what it is. It's not really an increased chance of getting a yellow.

You rememmber wrong m8. D2 has 123434 better drop rates than PoE.


BTW. This thread shows how low are drop rates in PoE. I think that they are lower than early D3. And this is not game tailored to AH (but its tailoerd for trade - its basically the same and effects are the same - totally low drop rates).

You may write about hardcore, about 'too high = boring", etc... but not getting unique in 50+ lvls rly sucks. That all.
And if you play game 'normally" (without stacked IIQ/IIR that gimps your char)? hahah sad joke. Enjoy 5 blues from act boss.

I dont want 5 uniques per run but ffs... ggg... HnS are about finding upgrades and unique items... now its just like in D3.
