the mod does not say "ADDED 450% RARITY" it says "INCREASED 450% RARITY"

You are technically still wrong. 450% increased rarity is 0.055

Because the equation is actually (Original Chance) + (Original Chance * Increased Chance)

Otherwise 10% increased rarity would mean you have 90% reduced rarity chance.

Okay changed it up a little. 113% quant 312% rarity 2 hours of docks, Results:

1 orb of augmentation
6 orbs of chance
1 chisel
1 orb of fusing

I have noticed a sharp drop in amount of rares in this combination

Were you under the impression that you should be guaranteed to find a unique item with very high increased rarity?

It just increases your chances. Also, if you are doing it only for unique items, you are basically taking a very very very low chance for a unique and making it a very very low chance instead. I don't think you are going to, nor should you, see a dramatic difference in unique drops after only 2 hours of farming.

Even if you did see a dramatic difference, that is exactly how random loot works. Results are, surprise surprise, random. You would have to log a lot more hours than 2 before you could ever make any comparisons to not wearing rarity gear. Even at 1,000 hours you still might not have a large enough sample size, especially if you only track unique finds, and not magic/rare finds.

Have other games that hand everything to you on a silver platter clouded your judgement such that you believe you should be entitled to a unique every 2 hours reliably just because you are wearing a lot of increased rarity gear?

Consider you have less IIR, this is to be expected. However, you're rolling.more times. A LOT more.

Actually, I do think I'm entitled to more than a 1 chaos unique in what is now 8+ hours when running the most rarity I've ever seen used. I do not see the point of using rarity if my chances are the same of a level 1 guy running in twilight strand.
