Make races for everyone not for just a small handful of people, this is pathetic ggg

Bring back official Races.

I joined this game hitting multiple races a day/week, now look at us...

Community organises races for streamers only, instead GGG organising races where everyone can participate... sad.

I'm just wondering how this doesn't go against, "Restrictions: Under no circumstances, without the prior written approval of Grinding Gear Games, may you:
Adapt, reproduce, store, distribute, print, display, publish or create derivative works from any part of the Website, Materials or Services other than in accordance with the Licence.
Modify or adapt (including through third parties and third-party tools) the game client or its data, other than in the normal course of PoE gameplay as permitted in accordance with the Licence.
Utilise any automated software or ‘bots’ in relation to your access or use of the Website, Materials or Services.
Knowingly perform any actions that may cause the computers used to support the Website, Materials and Services (the “Servers”) to become overloaded or crash.
Connect to the Servers through any software other than the authorised game client software.
Use any data gathering and extraction tools or software to extract information from the Website or utilize framing techniques to enclose any of the contents of the Website.
Use any meta tags or other hidden text which incorporate Grinding Gear Games’ name or any of its intellectual property including trade marks.
Perform in-game services during your use of the Website, Materials or Services for any form of compensation outside of PoE."

mainly that last part "Perform in-game services during your use of the Website, Materials or Services for any form of compensation outside of PoE." Providing a private race with a monetary compensation?

I miss the GGG races with alternate art up for grabs... :(

And this is when my hype was destroyed. It's announced on the main website as news with encouragement to sign up, while in reality applicable candidates are probably like 0.01% of PoE community, so I would say this is an exclusive event...

I still want to signup and give it a try with my friend, but if I will do so, I will just ignore the rules and conditions specified by you.

Just to be sure: No hard feelings, I am very happy that something like this is happening, even if not to play, I cant wait to tune in and watch it. I just wanted to point out that "not exclusive" and "fairly easily" are in a bit of contradiction with actual requirements.

Well, the requirement to enter the race is because I fund the race myself and it keeps costs low. Those aren't difficult things if you can do them I should say. As in anyone who can do those times can enter the race.

In regards to the streaming thing, this is the only race I've had any requirement and that's only the requirement so that I can assure no one cheats the no trading or grouping up outside the duo rule. In solo races of the past I've not had a streaming requirement.
