Not an expert, but maybe swap fire pen support to damage on full life support? also get the chin sol running, should make a difference for bosses.
flasks? do you really need 3 life flasks and 2 quicksilvers? the Pf ascendancy is focused around flasks and you seem to wasting this.
also, maybe get more damage on the abyssal gems.

your gems in general are missing levels and quality, which will affect your damage. in a leech build damage is a big layer of defense.

Hi, thanks for the build guide and I am trying it for the Incursion event. Sorry if I may ask a noob question since the topic of leech was raised - the Ele hit gem states 'deals no other damage type' and I do not see physical damage in the tooltip - so how are the phys leech nodes going to work? the given skill tree paths to the Hematophagy nodes. Thanks for any advice, appreciate.

You should technically be able to kill him before any facetank is required, since Elehit outputs ridiculous DPS.

But as another mentioned, if you are pathfinder, you should be using good flasks; life flask and quicksilver are not ideal.

Consider picking up, on a budget, both a Basalt and Granite flask. Roll one with Iron Skin. Just the two of these will likely bump your physical mitigation from like 5-10% base to over 40%. You can even drop Acrobatics if you want more armor. Stibnite flask is also a strong option, the Blind is essentially 50% more evasion chance. Jade Flask serves similar purpose; roll your Stibnite or Jade with "Reflexes".

Wise Oak is also a very strong offense/defense flask; penetration is #1 DPS booster.

If you are not a fan of flask juggling, why are you a pathfinder?
It's garbage. Respec to Raider; you will perform much better, passively, with full uptime of 5+ frenzy charges and onslaught on bosses.

Hematophagy is not taken for the physical leech. As you say, Elehit does 0 physical damage. It's only taken for the "3% to Maximum life leech rate" which increases your maximum life leech cap considerably, similar to Vitality Void. It's something around 600-800 life per second extra, which is nothing to sneeze at. It also throws in 20% increased damage while leeching.

You get all the elemental-attack-leech you need from Vitality Void.

How to level this build - the guide:

Buy:

- combat jewels
- pyre
- cod brotherhood
- tabula
- quill rain

Gems:

EH - Mirage Archer - combustion - wed - cold to fire - lmp/gmp

Lvl to 50 like that. Get a friend bost you through all with merc labs. Dont even spend points beside starter jewel sockets.

After merc lab respec to main path ~lv50.


This build does not work as a starter build. Get fucking arc trapper to 8X to get enough cash for the gear i described.

Its utter shit without those items. Dont be masochist.

Where do you guys get the 111 int required for combustion from? Checked your items, int is nowhere to be found. Since several levels combustion stopped leveling as I have no idea how to get along with those stats.

hmm so how should i level this build. i have money to buy lvling items. I also have both combat focus, lioneyes jewel, chin sol 5link, pyre, call of the brother hood and Xoph's blood. Does xoph's blood just save me 2 points in passive on this build?

Face tank doesn't usually literally mean face tank. You still want to pop flasks. I bet you aren't doing that. ie: Basalt for a HUGE damage reduction. A stibnite for blind and evasion...

Xophs gives a lot more than just AoF and is comparable to yoke in case of dmg but requires you to get hit. Yoke doesnt.

With yoke you can also shock but i think lightning trap does exactly the same shit.

Xophs is a survivability item, Yoke is full dps only item.

Wouldnt slayer be better over scion? what are the cons/pros of slayer vs scion?

The only ascendancy we need from Slayer is the overleech. Everything else is just a bonus, so why not go for Raider or Pathfinder? Also, other slayer nodes are useless for us.
