Your gear looks fine to me, but your jewels got some upgrade potential and you're missing the 25% mana regen node in witch start. That node itself might already fix the problem, give it a try.

I have upgraded my three non-essential jewels, and honestly cannot believe that i missed the node at witch start. Doh!

Right now i feel like i should be saving for either a pledge or inpulsas (thought i only have 2ex atm xD), would you agree this is correct?

Seems like a good idea. I'd go with Pledge first, Inpulsa's is really nice for clearing but the mana boost Pledge gives will be overall more beneficial for now.

i would just like to thank the poster for this guide! i am really enjoying the leveling section as i am a new player. very in depth its awesome!

The level of detail in this guide is amazing, and as someone with ~6 hours in this game, I thank you greatly.

I have gotten stuck though...in Act 2: ‣ Get Herald of Thunder in town and use it for now...what am I replacing? I'm not sure if Added Lightning or Arcane Surge is more beneficial.

Also, I just learned that linking is actually what allows support gems to 'support', so now I'm racking my brain figuring out what to use in other gear because of the different links that are present to me atm. I know it probably doesn't matter much at my current level of 21, but my brain is a dick...it won't let me just enjoy playing through until I learn more about gems.

I'd link my character if that would help someone steer me in the right direction, but I'm not sure if that's do-able in this forum! Anyone care to help a perfectionist with severe adhd?

On the right hand side, select privacy settings
Uncheck the first option (Set profile as private (hides all tabs including Overview))
Press Update

yeah, im only at 14k, though im not quite at the level 20 gem mark yet. This is unbuffed of course, though wiuth my auras on. Fully buffed, i can expect between 35-40k in best case scenario personally.
