" I want to hear a developers opinion on why that will never happen because I am curious about it as well. I get that it is easy to hack but what if the offline mode just removed your character and items from the online leagues. I always play alone. I never party and never trade. That's just how I roll. So for me, offline mode would be better: no desynch ever.
However, that is not the deal that is offered, so I play what is actually there. It has been stated quite clearly that no offline mode is coming, ever. End of story. not enough time for gaming!

Offline mode would obviously prevent desyncing... Which is why they will NEVER have offline mode.
