Facebreaker build what is the max dps?

Ok read this thoroughly because this will open your eyes to the way real men play this game.

I myself had a 120k Frenzy Facebreaker build in the past.

Things now changed a lot, you now have access to insane levels of dps. I imagine you could reach 200k with Legacy FB, heck it could be even more!!


1) The maximum of Frenzy charges got up by +2 (corrupted boots + amulet). That is an insane amount of extra dps in a Frenzy build. The jump from 7 to 8 charges with Darkray Vectors was already huge, and then they doubled it /jaywilson

2) New aura passives = insane Hatred (up to 70%+ extra cold dmg lol) + insane defensive capabilities (Grace, Determination, Purities)

3) ENHANCE!!! Imagine a Tabula/6l with +1 max levels corrupted mod, then imagine a corrupted lvl4 Enhance gem linked to Frenzy, Melee Phys Dmg, Multistrike, Melee Splash, Added Fire/Faster Attacks --> what that does is it gives you 32% extra quality on Frenzy which results in 11,2% extra attack speed PER Frenzy charge. Yes, multiply that with 10 Frenzy charges = insane 112% extra attack speed. Everyone knows how crazy quality on Frenzy is - it ups your dps considerably, now imagine that on speed --> 52% > 20%: the change will be even bigger! You will attack so fast, your 5k EB mana pool will deplete in under half a sec, that's why you will take the Blood Magic keystone. What this allows you is to get on low life status via auras!!! You think that is bad? Dude, ever heard of this?



Hi, spell block. I couple you with Acrobatics *gg*

Evasion, block, spell block, Acrobatics, Phase Acrobatics is the way to go with this build. And now that you are on low life and have Blood Magic, you surely don't want to die, eh? Oh, something with life leech that benefits low life? I present to you BLOOD RAGE! Couple that with Empower and Enhance and you're looking at another 76% attack speed and 15% life leech. WTF!! Not to mention you get instantly full Frenzy charges on killing a group of mobs.

And the best thing with insane attack speed iiiiiiiiis... TONS OF GORE!!!! Yes, even extra gore can be powered up. You will see permablood, with so much attacks per sec you WILL turn the screen red :D

4) Facebreakers, prepare you an*ses because you will get thoroughly fooked by Vaal Orbs (prepare to decimate Facebreakers into rare tier lol).
Try to get 'Curse Enemies with level (10 to 12) Vulnerability on Hit' and you just hit the jackpot in this build. Up to 30% MORE DMG - AUTOMATICALLY!!! Just bash on enemies, everything will disintegrate into a fog of blood :)


As you can see, new patches bring some pleasant changes, however to get all these items the right way, you will get so frustrated by Vaal Orbs that you WILL ragequit the game lol.

Your life won't be that much, but you will have the dps of the Hulk and the defense of Captain America (75% block + spell block, dodge, spell dodge, evasion). Phys reflect won't be a problem (dem blocks + eva + dodge), ele reflect won't either (hello Sapphire Flask) and the best: since you will be killing things as if you are driving a steamroller, you get so much flask charges you could perma granite and jade flask your way through the cakewalk that is Wraeclast and now comes the real deal --> ever heard of Vaal Immortal Call? 10 seconds should be enough for 99% of all bosses in the game ;)


So, be quick now, name your character 'PrepareYourAn*s' and trade all the corrupted items you need before people come to realize they could be worth more than they are selling them for and then hop onto the pain train that is called Facebreaker *choooo choooo* :D

Haha, glad to see some people will try to do this with the new patch. Sadly I don't have that much time atm for PoE :(

The build is centered around the bottom and right section of the skill tree, that's where all these juicy nodes are that you need to take to evolve to SSJ-levels of awesome.

For characters I advise Duellist or Ranger (my personal vote goes to her), but you can also choose the Marauder since we need Resolute Technique anyway and the nodes in his area are good.

Take Acrobatics cluster, all Frenzy charges, melee dmg, eva and block nodes and some life (if you're not man enough yet) and DON'T FORGET to take Ondar's Guile. This makes you immune to physical projectiles and also to all those chaos projectiles shooting mobs (if you want ezpz uniques, farm all the Coward's Trials you can get your hands on, it's 99% projectiles in there). At all cost do NEVER EVER take Iron Reflexes or Unwavering Stance.

Also if you like to take BoR, which is perfectly fine, then you get the added bonus of Blind and melee enemies will never ever touch you lol. But remember: real men take the thorny road (Abyssus) and will get rewarded with fists that punch so hard, they will be able to make Saitama their b*tch.

Yeah, shield block nodes. You may also try to corrupt Daresso's for extra spell block chance. And Tempest Shield helps too.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't see where he posted a tree anywhere..

Brolicious, your build intrigues me.

You'd need a Life Gain on Hit Gem in your 6-Link though, otherwise there is noway to sustain both the Cost of Frenzy AND the degen of Blood Rage.


Still, going such a YOLO Glass Cannon build, and as Melee, is a bit extreme. :P
