I think the only version of carrion braid without spell damage has 6% life leech instead, which is useless. Rune medallion doesn't have any without spell damage. Ventor's has 2 alternate versions of eagle medallion : either flat ES or max mana.

I don't think there will be any other top end legacy crit ammy with something other than spell damage.

The opportunity cost of waiting is zero.



That said, there are still bases to craft from (they're hoarded away) - it would be very expensive ofc because you cannot divine - you would need to et + exalt into not only tier1 affix but into a near perfect roll within that tier 1.

But it would happen, the resources are there.



It's like for the end users (us) who mirror the items - it is not that hard to get up a new mirrored character in a moderately short period of time. (look at my income /month in Ambush - and I was not the richest player in ambush at any point)

It is the same for the crafters on bigger scale - if the demand were to spike due to some change, the work will get done.



All hypothetical of course that they would even touch how spell damage interacts with attacking - but if such a change WERE to happen, you can believe that legacy crit amulets with new perfect 6 t1s would get made. No doubt about it.

so damn close, and yet oh so far away

Much more likely case is that the 3 crafters I mentioned simply use an older imprint. Honestlty there is almost nothing useful to add instead of spell damage, and I highly doubt GGG completely destroys the spell damage's effect on attack damage of crown of eyes. Lightning damage could replace it I guess, good luck hitting t1 light on a 5 t1 craft already though.

Actually, if they make PA affect only spell damage like it should, wouldn't stacking as much spell damage be better? To make maximum use of the multiplier from PA, provided they only fix it's interaction with other damage types and they don't nerf the %.

If this happens... I'll get a wrath fang I think lol.

About how easy it is to gear up. This is extremely new, thanks to atziri and uber atziri. Especially on ambush, uber atziri was super profitable. It was muuuuuuuch harder to make this kind of currency before this whole thing came around.



There's no way we'll ever get a perfect one though...
