[2.4] How to smash Heads. Extremely detailed guide about the Facebreaker gloves and builds!
I'm gald that it works out well for you ^^
Good luck! About the BoR vs AByssus + 6L chest Of course Abyssus + 6L chest is ALOT better ( and expensive ) but now after the nerf of the BoR even Abyssus + 5L chest is much better! " Awesome. I will get the Abyssus 5l first. Sir, I am now level 44 and doing fine. However, I am having to use my mana flasks a lot now. I think it is because my gems are increasing in level and they cost more mana to use. I am worried about my mana regen later on. I see that you take the passive node Shaper later on, I think since my gear is bad, I will take it early on (DPS and defense are fine at the moment). My question is: how do you control your mana usage? Is this build dependent on flasks? Thanks! Going to watch your videos right now and see what you are doing. I am thinking that your gear and gems are helping you keep your mana full but I am not sure. Will go check again. edit: Just watched some more videos; yes! I don't have to keep mana flasks! I like how most facebreakers just use quicksilver flasks. Editado por útlima vez por jpanside en 13 abr. 2014 22:12:22

Well you need mana leech on your gear! Even 1% makes a huge difference. Without mana leech you just can't cast with mana and you'll need to use Blood Magic Support gem.
With 1% mana leech + Shaper + Mana Flows i need to use a mana flask every 7 or 8 cast so 1 mana flask is enough to handle that. If you have more mana leech or mana regen on your gear you'll be able to play with 0 mana flasks. " True, the dps depends vastly on "Adds + x - y to Physical Damaage". But i've got the feeling that you can get jewellry with that stat fairly cheaply. I bought these yesterday for a couple of chaos: Each of them pushed my damage by ~500 in the 30s/40s (I'm leveling so fast I can't keep track xD) I'm so excited on switching to my legacy BoR ... found this gem shortly before the update when it was nerfed. Was dropped by a normal mob in the Imperial Gardens (merciless): IGN: ArrowInYourForsakenKnee Editado por útlima vez por Helbelinc en 14 abr. 2014 10:24:31

" yeah mana leech helps sooo much but I cannot use yet since I do not have an item with 5 links. But right now I am running 1 health and the rest quicksilver flasks so I am doing okay. Later on when I get better link items, I will switch. getting 5 link armor with red sockets is kinda hard =) Hey Korgoth I have a question about the passive tree. I see you took elemental adaptation. Is elemental adaptation better than getting Elemental resistance? I am confused at how they are different. Thanks! " Wow, lovely rings! And you are lucky to have BoR!!! |
|
I don't mean mana leech SUPPORT gem! I mean mana leech as an item mod like in this ring:
Elemental Adaptation increases the resistances cap ( which is 75% ) so with it you can have up to 77% fire, cold nad lightning resistances but it doesn't grant any resistances. Resistance nodes increase your resistances up to the resistances cap ( 75% without the Elemental Adaptation and 77% with it ). Those are 2 entirely different things! As i've explained you need to cap your resists at all cost! Usualy it's very easy to achieve that just with your gear and a few resist passive nodes, but if your gear is nt good enough you might need to spend more passive skill points for resist nodes - do that if you need! So basicly you need elemntal adaptation once when you have capped your resists at 75% and you want to increase them even more and push the cap up to 77% "I'm going to show you pain you never knew existed, you're going to see a whole new spectrum of pain!!!!! " Browse the vendors from Act 3 normal onwards to act 3 merciless. they have 5-links for sale once in a while. I bought this from a vendor and just used an alc on it (it's pretty easy to get 5 red links on a pure armor chest. It's nothing special but will carry me to BoR hopefully :D I' A1 Merc now and got 5k damage and can handle everything easy. I use BM until my reduced mana gem's strong enough to keep enough mana free and then I'll switch to Added Fire Damage. Resists will be capped when I hit Level 55 since I can use that shield then: (also bought this for 1c, will carry me to 70 till I can use Lioneye's) IGN: ArrowInYourForsakenKnee Editado por útlima vez por Helbelinc en 15 abr. 2014 1:09:03

my friend gave me an abyssus so I am now at merc piety with 12,000 dps lvl 63. however, my HP is only 2,400. is this normal? When will I get 5,000 hp? I took all the health nodes.
Hey Korgoth, I was wondering about cast when damage taken. When I watch your videos, it looks like your trigger gems work constantly and all the time. For me, I feel like it's hit or miss. Sometimes my molten shell and decoy totem trigger but sometimes it's only my totem and not my molten shield. kinda confused. Thanks! Btw, has this build been nerfed since you made it? or is it still crazy good? I am now saving up for 5l or 6l armor...gonna take forever. |
|
Just started this build, have about 15k dps at level 60 kinda crazy. Couple of questions
Bringer of rain, totaly voids your chest armor? can you still wear one for the life...res all.... Currently using Abyssus. Using carnage heart, what should I be looking for in a good ammy? Thanks in advance for any help! EDIT: Why is lions remorse a must have? Editado por útlima vez por lostnomad1 en 16 abr. 2014 9:10:03
