Vendoring unique items - improvement needed

agreed to add new recipe !
cuz chances becomes useless + it takes a lot stash space all those rare/magic/simple

I feel like the vendor system as a whole needs to be expanded more. Uniques really need better vendor recipes.
GGG justifys making us find low level uniques in end game maps because its a chance to find low lvl uniques at a higher item level.

I would rather that all uniques be able to have the max amount of sockets and be found at appropriate places when your leveling. Because just like many of you I get tired of doing a high lvl map and seeing a unique drop only to be extremely disappointed.

I know many disagree with this. Its just my opinion.

p.s. I agree with the OP, my disdain for low lvl uniques wouldn't be as bad if I could vendor them for a decent orb or 2. Not putting in all that work for 5 friggin chance orbs.

That's correct. The purpose is to make uniques easily convertible to other currency, not to fill our stashes even more with white items etc.

In Diablo 3 every legendary can be salvaged to Feiry Brimstone, which can be used to crafting something else or sold. Diablo 3: Special item => special material. PoE: Special item => junk currency. This is one of very few things Diablo 3 is actually better at.



well , brimstones are junk so , i don't think this is a fair statement.

This. Generally, when a unique drops in high-IIQ maps, often it just straight-up gets ignored by my group, because it's worthless. Like, which low-level uniques are even worth anything? Sadima's (barely), Andavarius, the unique onyx ammies, Dream Fragments... Um...
