Vendoring unique items - improvement needed

Hi guys,
I'm sure many players have their stashes filled with lots of crappy or low-end uniques that they are trying to sell for like 1 alch or some other trash currency. That's why I would like to hear if GGG is planning to make some recipe for vendoring unique items. They may not be very useful but they are still uniques so I don't think anyone likes vendoring them for couple of alteration shards as it is now. I believe they are to rare and too cool to do such thing.

In a current state of the game, when there's many uniques nobody really wants, I'm convinced the game needs some system of getting rid of them in a way that doesn't make players feel sorry that they throw away something special or trade it for almost nothing. Even Diablo 3, so inferior to PoE in many aspects, has this sort of system.

Please consider adding another currency that can be obtained only through uniques or at least state officially that you have no intention to work this out so I can throw away all this cool but useless stuff I got as I'm already lacking place to keep it (although I've bought stash tab premium bundle).

There's already 1 if i'm not mistaken, i guess it's 1 unique 1 rare 1 magic and 1 normal item of the same type, vendor it for a chance orb.

What a deal.
I dont like the current vendor recipe for uniques, its extremly tedious.

What I would prefer is something like:

sell 3x of the same unique and get 5 Orb of Chances.

So people can trade with them and they have a fixed lower value.

Problem is this requires keeping all uniques until we find enough for the recipe. Real solution would be any opportunity to get rid of them for a fair price. Taking uniques rarity into account I don't think any of them should be worth less than 1 chaos orb, which is still not much.

Uniques are cool stuff and now most of them is worth sh*t. It is so sad :(

Some uniques have a decent vendor payoff already. 5alch shards = 1 chance orb, I have seen a few crap uniques vendor for much more than 5. What I really wanted to see was some of the new crappier stats, light radius, having a much higher vendor rate. Would make seeing them on an item alot nicer, I mean 8 alt shards would be worth watching it decrease the value of my rares and turn my alterations into augmentation orbs.

It is not much better than most rares, which we find tons of.

My point is uniques are special items, having very low droprate, so when we are forced to get rid of them (no space in stash for example) I think we should feel we gain something special in return, not some crappy shards. I got tons of alch orbs in my stash and getting 1/4 of 1 alch orb in return for unique item doesn't seem appealing. A chaos orb or some chance orbs would be much better deal. People wouldn't have to waste time trying to sell them to other players for anything of any value.

There is one known recipe that includes unique items. We do not know all vendor recipes.

Why should GGG do anything simply because we are ignorant of the other recipes? For all we know there could be a unique recipe that produces Exalts or Divines.

You get 5 chance orbs, but its annoying finding low level white and blue items for the recipe, the only items its easy for is rings and belts.

That's correct. The purpose is to make uniques easily convertible to other currency, not to fill our stashes even more with white items etc.

In Diablo 3 every legendary can be salvaged to Feiry Brimstone, which can be used to crafting something else or sold. Diablo 3: Special item => special material. PoE: Special item => junk currency. This is one of very few things Diablo 3 is actually better at.
