Exalted Orb Recipe

Not sure what what peoples' issue is with variation in the standard economy. Want to see exalted orbs out of control? Head over to domination. 37-39c average selling price for an exalt right now. Incredibly rare to be able to get one for less than 37c.

Wouldn't mind seeing this recipe implemented to keep exalts in check, but I also don't think it's necessary.

back in sept they were about that in sc -- don't really know why they dropped so much.
maybe a lot of sc players migrated to the 4 month leagues?
Even if the recipe would be added, it would be something ridiculous, like sell a mirror or your first-born. :P

Maybe it's stupid, just think it would help the players out and screw the item sites over and that made me smile.

if you did this, exalts would PLUMMET in value and godly gear would be everywhere, would break the economy and make exalt sooooooo easy to get

Adding (or revealing) an exalt orb recipe wont help the players to get self-sufficient on the market, and godly gear won't be everywhere. Those two statements rely on the assumption that exalted orb will more or less keep the average same value, but it won't, and people will certainly use an other drop-only orb as their most valuable currency (as in fact it's already the case with eternal, even if exalt is still the point of reference). And no, it won't screw rmt sites over, on the contrart they would be the first to benefit from it.

i dont think, that you really need a recipe.... 20000 player are finding maybe 6000 /day.. that should be enough...

6000 exalts a day? lol. Probably more like 60 if you're lucky.

As long as there are items of value that you have to hunt for, RMT sites will sell those things for money. Changing the values of different items slightly won't affect the RMT sites very much.

If they want to fix the RMT site problems, they'd either have to offer their own RMT service, or make it so none of the in-game items have any trading value. Neither of those things are going to happen, so RMT sites are picking up the slack.

Oh please no. If that happens, we'd have another D3 fiasco on our hands.. Don't want that happening to PoE.
