Burning Arrow Chain Reactions // 30m DOT DPS // Faceroll all content

Hello,

I plan to switch to BA tomorrow from KB/firewall. I currently have primordial chain and 1 primordial eminence. I have about 7-8ex and was wondering in terms of upgrades what should be my priority?

I figure xophs bow and bereks ring are my first two, (roughly 2.5ex total)

With the remaining 4-5ex, would it be better to grab another primordial eminence and an anima stone? (0.5ex+3.5ex = 4ex)

Or is it better to look for the cluster jewels which are quite expensive too, all of them seem to be going for about 1.5ex each even for basic versions I believe?

Just trying to get an idea before I switch tomorrow which path in terms of gearing I should prioritize. Whether it be grabbing two more golems or the cluster jewels which I heard add a ton.

Edit: Ended up snagging an anima stone for 270chaos. So guess I'll likely end up looking to buy the cluster jewels last with whatever currency I have left.

I ran a 5L for the first 2 days since I got unlucky with 6linking.

Gems were> VBA - Deadly Ailments - Burning damage - Unbound Ailments and Ele damage with attacks.

Running with GMP would feel nicer I guess, but I managed without, needed the damage since I pushed red maps the first day
Hi, new to golems here and i have a noob question. You summon 2 of each golem type and 1 flame golem. What is the reasoning / mechanic behind this distribution? Why not, for example, 1 of each and the rest all to chaos golem for phys red % stack. Thanks

Golems buff don't stack.

Having 2 of one type means that it's unlikely both will die at the same time, leaving you without that buff while they resurrect. Flame is just damage %, 4 seconds without it's not drastic at all.

Depends on your definition, and how comfortable you are with crafting. A 5L Xoph's bow and rares for life and res will feel ok in white maps to start. Certainly enough to continue to farm for further upgrades.

I got my bow from a single breach stone (50c at the time). Berek's was 2ex? So less than 3ex + random rares from early mapping / leveling? I feel pretty comfy mid yellows so far.

Clusters add a little, but meh. You can buy the bases and roll a single mod super easy for the short term. Maybe 8-9ex for both sets of clusters combined?

I like this new metric system. I shall henceforth measure everything through addition of "very". With respect of copyright, we can call it the "Grimro" system. Very, very nice, indeed. ^^
