just want to say a quick thank you to the exile who reached out to me in-game after seeing my previous post about how crappy my gear was and offered up some quick advice. Upgraded my gear a bit tonight and the build already feels better (though I have to get used to using shield charge)
now, what would be the next step to taking the build up a notch? which pieces do I focus on upgrading next? i know helm is definitely one of the items i need to upgrade
use spell cascade but no knockback in your 5 Link chest, and I would recommend a tabula instead of your body armor, which gives you 6L
Augment and hope you hit a desirable fire prefix, I hit smoking remains so I re-rolled with remove a random fire mod and a new fire mod. Until I hit cremator.
Regal and hope for a suffix that is not lightning or cold resist, all resist is fine.
After that use an augment add cold/lightning mod to get a random prefix of that element.
Final step depending of what element craft you used, use remove a random cold/lightning mod add new mod until you hit sadist, took my around 5 tries.
We do not use the fire variant of the craft because it can remove cremator.
You can probably switch the steps around but this is how I did it.
bit confused about Cremator? I think we need corpse?
We get plenty of corpses from desecrate, don't really think corpses from mobs matter that much. Now that I think about it, cremator might not be needed. Maybe it prevents zombie caustic ground in Delve or does Inpulsa take taker of that.

Any reason +1 gems is not a priority? I have it on my wand, shield, and +2 on the amulet and it feels amazing.
Im looking to upgrade my wand and shield next, but feel like keeping the gem levels should be a priority. Also, I realize my belt is mediocre. Im working on a CDR belt.

Corrosive Elements and Sadist both have lightning, cold and fire tag, so using remove a random mod add a new random mod of those elements you risk to remove Sadist. It is much harder to get those mods that you want on a jewel and I would recommend you use wave of conviction instead since, exposure from jewels only apply a -10% resistance while WoC gives -25%.

ok, i have a cascade gem, but nowhere to slot it into. what would i swap out for cascade?
also, is the 6L from tabula worth more than the stats from my current chest?
