3.9| Stress-Free PoE - CURSING CI |SSF the Atlas w/ 1 Button & Any Gear|Dungeon Crawl PoE!
"I'm glad it worked for you! Ya, Arcane Surge or Hypothermia work well as a 5th socket for Vortex. Your Shark Technique sounds awesome! I'm going to do it because the "title" is awesome :). Thanks for the great post! I haven't touched 3.9 much. So I don't have any answers for you yet there. But it'll come. I'll be more informative after more gameplay ;). Thanks again for your kindness :). https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

" Nah, you are most welcome! I'm glad it worked, too! I swapped Increased Area Of Effect Support with Arcane Surge. It seems like a good choice. As for Hypothermia I would have had to change the socket colors of my chest armor. But I don't want to mess it all up, so I'll just keep Arcane Surge. It's the one you recommend anyway. ^^ Ah, I found the entrance to the Fallen Courts btw! It seems I just didn't go east enough in Oriath to make it pop up on the map. But it's definitely there and now I have Kirac in my hideout and the map device is back aswell. Yay! So cheers, mate! Have a good week! :) Editado por útlima vez por PrincessOfAsgard#3257 en 16 dic. 2019 17:43:27

I am liking this build a lot. I am only in white maps heading toward yellow and my worry is that you have to be hit for your curses to trigger. I worry about red maps and endgame where the things that hit you are going to hurt a lot. Tonight, I will test out converting temp chains to an aura with blasphemy and see if that makes a difference. With Metamorph bosses, there are a lot of things that you do NOT want to be hit with.

"Hey Ninyu! I'm glad you're liking it! The build does great in endgame maps. I use it all the time :). Here, this is my Cursing CI playlist. Hopefully, it gives you some reassurance. All the maps I've done with this build for the last while are T16, 15, and 14. I think you'll do great as you progress through the endgame. Obviously keep upgrading your gear too. Though the build revolves around curses, think of curses as a bonus. You'll see that enemies are cursed a lot, yet, even when they aren't, they still die quickly. Feel free to make whatever changes you want though. Hi Wrecker,
Great guide as usual. I had a little trouble at league start, but it's doing much better after my third ascendancy and some better gear. I have a question about the passive tree. On the southeast side of the tree, after taking "Fangs of the Viper" which provides chaos damage and Dex mostly, you continue to head south and take the other energy shield passives in the "Void Barrier" cluster. I was wondering instead of heading south, if you considered heading west instead and took the Damage Over Time increases at "Entropy." I know Energy Shield is important since its our only life, but the "Entropy" increases seem pretty big. Cheers. |

Hello!
Thanks for the build, having a lot of fun. I had two questions : 1) as someone who's never played a build with CI before, how much ES should I aim for before switching to CI? 2) Why didn't you take Light Eater? ES leech and damage on full ES sounds alright, or am I missing something? |
|
" I would say that about the amount you would a life-based character expect to have life. I took CI before reaching act 8 because of the chaos damage ground effect left behind by dead zombies. My energy shield was somewhere between 2000 and 3000 back then. " If I understood Wrecker_of_Days correctly, it is, because this build focuses on the damage over time of Vortex. Damage over time cannot leech because I doesn't hit. Overwhelmed by Path of Exile? You might want to have a look at Wrecker_of_Days' beginner-friendly guides. Which anointment do you all use for your amulett? Arcane Guarding (chance to block, increased spell damage, increased energy shield from shield) sounds awesome, but Entropy (more damage over time) as well.
Unfortunately, good old Cassia has become very rare since going core and thus her oils, too. One needs teal, black oil for Arcane Guarding. Sepia, amber, crimson for Entropy. Hey Everyone! My friend Tagz and I have started a new podcast called Forever Exiled - A Path of Exile Podcast! (The term "friend" is a bit generous though. I don't really like him honestly. I'd rather be friends with anyone else...but his parents pay me a lot of money to befriend him. Plus, he bought me some Celestial Cat Socks from ExileCon which means I'm now bound to him until the next ExileCon. (May it be soon so that I may be free of this wretched bond.)) ;-)
Seriously though, we talk all things Path of Exile. One normal PoE player (though he's way better than me at PoE which is another reason I don't like him) talking to another normal player about PoE. If you're interested, you can subscribe from our website https://foreverexiled.com/ with any medium OR Follow us on Twitter @ForeverExiled82 where we'll post our newest episodes when they're ready. Sorry for the "self-promo" but if you listen, we'd love your feedback. Thanks! https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

" adapt the playstyle. try placing vortexes before spawn and running around dodging mechanics. you'll still be hit by smaller mechanics, triggering the curses, but should not be dying. while you may not be able to land a vortex directly in the middle of the boss, survivability should not be an issue. also, if metamorphs are too hard, you can try tuning down the boss encounter difficulty. |
