Syndicate Freezes, Stutters/Drops Frames Severely

Just want to throw my two cents. I bought an SSD recently, and it fixed the problems I was having for the most part.
The problem for me was nonexistent in the previous league. However, like many in this thread, my screen would literally freeze completely the moment a syndicate was within my screen range. I could still hear the syndicates attacking me as my screen was frozen. This obviously was game changing, and not in the good way. I put it off to the side thinking GGG would eventually address and fix this issue that so many are constantly reporting. Obviously that did not happen. I tried several solutions a few users posted in this thread, but none were a real fix. The only real fix for this issue at the current moment(at least for me it was) is buying an SSD. I agree with many others you shouldn't need an SSD to play the game functionally. GGG obviously isn't going to fix this issue within the current timespan of this league. For those who haven't bought one yet, I highly suggest buying one. Installing windows, all your drivers, and POE took me about 3-4 hours. tl;dr buy an SSD. I know it sounds like a cliche at this point, but odds are it will fix the freeze. Amazon has 120g SSD's starting at $19.99 USD, the price of a supporter pack. |

Yeah, I agree with you, Bluffed.
I'll tell you what though: going to deduct every single penny I spend on upgrading my machine from any future supporter money that would have gone to these lazy pricks. Not a question of money but of principle. I'll keep a tally of what I spend, if it is like $300, guess it will be awhile before they get any money from me. That is life. Stupid decisions have consequences. Censored.

" Plenty of people saying that they're getting same freezes on SSDs and i think it's been shown to be a multithreading issue or smth. Telling your playerbase to "buy SSDs" because you mucked up the software from one league to the other is ridiculous and people are gonna quit your game before buying some drive, because 1 encounter from 1 league is bugged. This must be losing them a lot of players and i don't understand why they haven't said anything about it or fixed it a month into the league. Quit after Legion, rejoined PoE to see what the game's like now in 3.12.

Considering the last post from GGG, i'm sorry to say but this stutters/freezes/crashes are here to stay, since they are basically working on a end of league event and 3.7 expansion. So enjoy your free deaths everyone!

So it looks like they will start throwing the game out of the window bc they don't want to fix problems and just keeps on adding more content that we cannot enjoy since we die every few seconds.

Keep bumping bois! Everyone's attention should be on this. There should be reddit threads with 5k upvotes on this and people should be contacting tech support.

What a waste to even play. How to advance when the games destroy 10% when it decides on Syndicate. I have alt4 at the slightest indication they are there. Does no good I die anyway.

New Patch introduced Gamecrashes when encountering Betrayal.
The First more or less good patch i think, now at least you know that you are encountering Betrayal since the Game just crashes completely. not bad but i still think its better to just solve the issue. I mean this is not a difficult problem, you could easily fix this in a few minutes if you want to. Thats why its even more frustrating that you dont care at all. |
