Syndicate Freezes, Stutters/Drops Frames Severely

Bump
Bought a 120gb SSD, installed windows and poe on it, and the game runs fine now.

The Eternal Disconnection renders my gameplay useless. No way to guard yourself against it. In Syndicate game still freezes when mob appears leading to my death each and every time.

That's it for me this league. I've only gotten about 2 days total playing time all league. Mostly I just crash between 5 and 8 minutes.

WE can all go away now. GGG does NOT CARE. Apparently they have made all the money they want to and 10Cent can suck wind.

So people need to buy SSDs because GGG is too incompetent to fix a software issue that didn't exist in 3.5? It's not even an HDD related thing. (ppl with SSDs still getting it) It seems to have to do with interventions dropping the usage of cpu cores down to 1 for some reason.

A 2013 arpg, requiring an SSD to run... also has memory leaks that make PoE gobble up like 7-9 gb of RAM in an hour or two. Lmao...
Quit after Legion, rejoined PoE to see what the game's like now in 3.12.

It does it on wife's gaming rig w/SSD so that is either bs or something else changed.

$3000 brand new gaming rig, and it manages to fuck up anyway.

This is what I did and it STOPPED:

First method:

Uninstalled PoE, reinstalled via Steam. Put in --nopreload in Steam, it stops this fucking bs but it takes a LONG time to load every fucking map.

But yeah it will work. No more lag, no more deaths.

Second method (I believe this comes from Paldamus, if I'm wrong pls correct):

Launch Poe, no --nopreload or anything appended to shortcut. I did this through Steam but no reason think it has to be through Steam. Go into task manager, details, find Poe, and click on affinity. Turn off all processors except one, then go off and get a drink or pee or something.
Go back in and turn on all the processors again. Then set priority to High.

Wait a few seconds before you go into a map or something. Runs fine.
Censored.
well sadly i think i'm done, will still play alittle but till this freezing/crashing issue is fixed its just not as much fun anymore
DId GGG put all their dev team to make MTXs?

Come on GGG, EU server issue, Syndicate freeze. I almost regret giving GGG money for the Supporter pack this league.

Guys check out my post "intervention fix" in this same forum here. GGG still needs to fix this on their end obviously, but it will help you regardless.

This! I've tried Paldamus's method and doesn't have noticed any improvement... but I tried it while using --noasync. Now I just finished a Syndicate map without the parameter and it does wonders, even better than --noasync. I mean, almost (I always experience some "normal" degree of it) no stutter at all!

Call me naive, but I hope this helps GGG pinpoint the problem cause.

I did exactly that with a new 240gb SSD and it didn't do anything to the syndicate freezes/stutters.

Same here. every map with syndicate on it game frezee for about ~5sec and then dead. dont' understand how hardocre player handle this.... its fucked up.
They aren't fixing this guys. Either learn to deal with it or move onto a new game. May I suggest Sekiro, fantastic game and works.

GGG doesn't give a shit, they spent a few days trying to fix it and now have moved on to MTXs.
