Do you guys even pick up rares / ID them?

Honestly as much as I love fossils they made picking up any rare 100% useless unless we are talking first 60-70 lvls of SSF (or shap/elder rares). Like in two hrs of Delve farming low level you can make better than a whole season of finds.

Boots and belts and a particular set of helmets. Chests are completely hidden, as are almost every weapon type except for foils since those are popular. I guess Shaper and Elder bases, too, since those are things we craft so the high iLvl ones sell without any effort on my part. Life + triple res do happen but don't expect them to drop every day or week.



Certainly not mirror-tier stuff but I could slot that belt into literally any build as a good starting point.

They certainly have a chance. Everyone's picked up a GG rare. But like 1/10,000 so most people that been here awhile figure those clicks are better used for something else.

And that's a real shame when you make more wealth/hour by simply ignoring 98% of the rares that drop.

Loot overall, in poe is very stagnate and nearly all valueble items are now gated around event bosses instead of being able to drop at any point during end game play.

In the past two days I've sold several rare boots for the following amounts:

3.5 Ex
60c
50c
40c
30c
25c

Sold a few rare ES helms also. And a couple weapons, gloves and body armors.

I enjoy ID'ing rares. I pretty much never leave one on the ground without ID'ing it, and my filter hides none.

I reached 2000 Alterations with one 71 and the other character at 83 or so. That's how many rares I ID and sell along the way :)

is mostly on rares, and I even not converted 8 ex what I lately got from 2 more rares I found in a random drop. Just need to know what to check. Its fun.

I stopped to sell uniqs mostly, since they got crappier than rares.

Only elder shaper and jewels past two weeks in a league, i don't bother with anything else it's just a time sink. Game isn't really drop based.

Yeah, even before I started playing SSF I would pick up all rares and ID them.
I've given up a bit on that habit since Incursion, because there was just too much loot, so I just took good or smal base items or anything of interest to my char.

I pickup rares for chaos/regal recipe, but only doing it with unid. At first I id them but when I noticed 98% of them were just crap & become chaos recipe, I just stopped IDing them, it solve my need for SoW too. I'm doing the chaos/regal recipe to have something to do when I'm not running maps. I can't stand chaining maps back to back, I easily get bored & get tired of playing.

Yes, I pick up and ID rares. Not all of them though.
I'd probably make more currency just by smashing maps and delve but I just can't play that way.
