Is your pob updated? It can be update issue.

So I have been working on mostly getting currency to upgrade my gear and gems. This is currently where I am at tree and gear wise.

PoB Link: https://pastebin.com/0xigBXDV

I barely get tickled in anything T10 map or under and melt/1-shot most mobs. Most reds are fine until I start going into T13's and up and some of the modifiers stack NOT in my odds. I run anything that doesn't have ele reflect.

Looking for any feedback on tree changes or gear changes. I need both survivability and damage but I am having fun and doing pretty good for myself.

Hi Gold3h again :)
Seems like similar issue I mentioned exists.

2 points wasted, no vaal grace, crit multi on quiver and amulet.

Plus, this is important - do not go physical reflect map.
Storm burst skill from lightpoacher have high base physical damage, you will die here and there. I tried physical to lightning but still die in phys ref map. It needs 90% conversion(for example, other build with 40% cold conversion from node + 50% phys to light) to survive in phys ref map.

Opinion on Farruls fur?
I know its pricey but i finaly got it yesterday to try it and it is absolutely nuts.

"
hankinsohl escribió:

Farrul's Fur looks nice; I haven't tried to model it in POB though.

Are you able to get permanent uptime on Power/Frenzy charges with Farrul's?

Edit - Compared Farrul's against Shroud just now in POB. Shroud appears to give a lot more DPS but perhaps Farrul's is better for mapping? (more defense?)

I checked very little tweak (mostly same but only change body armour, gem, and one power charge node instead of frenzy charge to have up all time. Shaper dps decreases from 4.0m to 3.5m, life decreases from 6560 to 6296. This maybe because this build isn't optimized for Farrul's fur.

Hi I've looked at your character BestiaryTH

You are playing deadeye and has no mechanic to sustain frenzy charge in boss fight. Why do you use points in frenzy charge node? You should do something like this : https://pastebin.com/60zNF6MH

Phase Acrobatic really heps against spell-using monsters.

For items, try to get +life in every single rare items as I did in budget. High-life pool is necessary to avoid getting one-shotted. Also don't forget to use 1 murderous eye jewel in tombfist to get 10% more dmg.

Thats really good but since you have allready so much dmg, i would rather have a HP roll instead.

I agree, +life mod is always nice to have. Sell it to dps lovers :)

Someone mind comparing this build to deadeye rare build -- https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2118193/page/1 - the owner of deadeye build claims it is best setup on all of forums so i am just curious which one of these builds comes out stronger as I am about to ascend and would like to choose one. Thanks and great job with build guide!

There is no such thing like the best build in my opinion. It's all about personal preference which build(skill, dps or defense, life) he or she likes.

I looked at the build few days ago, it's really interesting, nicely optimized. To simply compare, this shroud build have 4m shaper dps, 6.4k life, and higher spell dodge while the dex stacking build have 5m shaper dps, 5k life and base dodge. In short, this build have less dps but bit more defense. It's up to your choice.

Nice build, leveling is rly smooth, bosses dont have a chance. I made some adjustements (deadeye) and maybe some different gems but the basic is the same and now i managed to kill Uber Elder (with Windripper, no Chin soil, and with TS mainly), so thumbs up for this build :)

Great to hear you enjoy build. Gratz on your Uber Elder kill.

Hi, it seems like you are well-geared.

Boss fight is more about experience and skill. You will be better in the fight as you try more. For example, I managed to kill Uber Elder 1 death in second try as this build, better than first kill. Check this - https://youtu.be/QVlT2mNw5Kg where I had similar dps (3.8 or 3.9m) to yours.

What I've leared so far - Elder ice spear or Shaper ball did 5.5k ~ 5.9k damage without mitigation(this build doesnt have purity or fortify etc). So prepare 6k or higher life pool to survive even if you get hit by mistake.

I tried aspect of crab and spider. I like crab more because physical dot minor pantheon + crab aspect helps alot when you walk over physical dot area by elder and his spawn. So try to get spare belt and use aspect of crab instead of herald.

Plus you might want to swap into tornado shot because lightning arrow or ice shot + gmp doesnt shotgun against single target but TS does by secondary projectile. There isn't not much time to use barrage, I only used barrage when shaper using beam.

Hey.
Flask is important. Try to craft or buy the exact same flask setup as suggested.
Wtih your pob, flasks changes your shaper dps from 1.17m to 1.9m(with Chin Sol).

Next is to get 'increased elemental damage' in your rings and amulet.

Last is the jewels. critical chance is not recommended. Check out jewel section / budget gear section to see what mods are best for this build. all t2 or higher 3 mods jewel are enough.

How on earth are some of you guys sitting at like 2-3m dps for Barrage? I'm at about 200k. Nooooo idea how I'm supposed to be hitting a number like that?

Any suggestions welcome. My toon is available for viewing on my profile..

Thanks

3M is the PathofBuilding DPS for Barrage when "all projectiles" is selected, charges are up, and flasks are enabled; it's not a tooltip DPS figure.

200K tooltip is a bit below 3M "all projectiles" but it's not an order of magnitude off.

any ideas what to aim for next, I'm thinking +1 and +2 helms for barrage and tornado shot, watcher's eye with double anger(fire damage+multi) and improve gems? Everything is getting very expensive rn
I don't see the Anger Crit Multi variant in PoB, and have no updates to download. Is this the same for everyone else?

Also, 50crit multi at my gearing (2.6m chin sol shaper dps, nearly all life/2 damage affix jewels) seems to actually be less increased dps than a life/3 damage affix jewel. I tested this by using a single affix 10crit multi jewel and just multiplied the value by 5. Doing the same test with Kaleav's PoB, I do see a large gain from 50crit multi. So, question becomes "Is 50crit multi watcher's eye something we're intended to get near the very end of gearing, once we have higher flat damage values or do I need get a multi-anger watcher's eye to make it viable?". I would like to see if others had different findings.

I didn't see the Anger Crit-Multi variant either.

Here's the item text from my budget w/e jewel with which you can create one in POB:

Rarity: Unique
Watcher's Eye
Prismatic Jewel
--------
Limited to: 1
--------
Item Level: 82

5% increased maximum Energy Shield
4% increased maximum Life
5% increased maximum Mana
7% chance to Block Spells while affected by Discipline
+42% to Critical Strike Multiplier while affected by Anger
--------
One by one, they stood their ground against a creature
they had no hope of understanding, let alone defeating,
and one by one, they became a part of it.
--------
Place into an allocated Jewel Socket on the Passive Skill Tree. Right click to remove from the Socket.

The value of crit multi will depend on how much base damage you're doing, how often you crit and how much crit multi you already have. It's generally a great stat - and if it's not high-valued for you then perhaps you need more base damage or higher crit chance.

Hey I've looked at your character.

First few things that you can do cheaply : Go eternal lab when the layout is ez. Get lightning or ele penetration enchant on boots. It isn't that difficult as helmet.
Second, try to craft or buy life + blind on hit + dmg jewel. It does really magical defense against attack-skill boss.

Enchant Helmet is good aim at your points. Barrage if you focus bossing or TS if you like mapping.

I wanted to mention that high-end gear is really expensive in any build. I think my Bestiary budget gears(except enchant and HH) are obtainable. After that, slamming jewels and upgrading double watcher's eye, add arrow Chin Sol, vaaling many quivers - all of these costs alot to push one step further.

Hi, POB isn't fully updated so you need manually write down(or copy and paste from my pob).

I am wondering if you have good enough tier(for example t1~t3) damage in your jewel.

https://pastebin.com/EC1m0h5L
This is my pob of level 90 (day 7 BSC) in budget section. If you double-click Grim Vision Searching eye jewel, you will see it is the best rare jewel at that point by seeing + dps if replacing other. But Anger crit multi jewel does give higher dps than this jewel.

If you look at the gears, it is not the very end of gearing. Anger crit multi jewel is already the best dps jewel. Regarding 4mod jewel(life + 3 dmg affix) costs 5ex - 10ex or more, watcher's eye is very cost effective for this build.

I just recently swapped boots so am trying to get it back at the moment(having a bit of bad luck)

I think I'm above the budget section as I'm on 4.1mil dps, I've slammed a few jewels so far with some success. Just trying to make that much currency for some of the stuff is painful atm :/
after the 10 tries finally uber elder down !

thx for the build m8 ;)

got 3 ish mill barrage dps and 6.5k ehp

Thank you for the jewel copypasta. Apparently my patchwork testing wasn't very accurate, as it's a 130k or so dps increase for a couple of my 2 damage affix jewels. I really thought, for a minute, that it was just because my base damages were so low with already having 398% critmulti, because my crit chance isn't the limiting factor(78%). Thanks again.

Thanks for explanation! I agree.

Thanks for the reply, I agree, Watcher's Eye is very cost effective(even if buying 6/50) when considering great 4mod jewels(working on that, lol).

Thanks for linking your 90pob, too. I was wondering which points you did last, and looking at that, it makes sense. I dropped the points after Heart of the Oak up to Aspect of the Eagle near the starting area so that I can finish off life nodes in duelist and Revenge of the Hunted. My last question, if you don't mind: after 90, pick up the last abysal jewel slot or work toward Aspect of the Eagle first?

Thanks again.
