[3.15] Fivers Frost Blades Raider (Outdated)
" When I made the build, claws was just the logical choice. But there are advantages to claws. The main one is survival. Not only do you get soul raker, but you also get 46 Life Gain on Hit from the implicit on Imperial Claws. That said, you can make a foil version of this build that will work just fine. Again, you will be sacrificing a bit of survival for it. Don't panic. |

" You have 5.6k HP, so I'm very surprised that you have issues with the conquerors, but I'm looking at your PoB now, and there are things that could be changed. Items Claw: The one you have is good, but you can have better. The PDPS on your current claw is at 400, which is alright, but not great. If you craft on a double T1 Flaring+Celebration, you can get 440+ on a good roll, and still have room for a redeemer exalt. The redeemer exalt you have on your claw is, again, good but not great. Ideal would be the phys as extra cold, or pure ele penetration. Shield: You have a lot of life on it and you have mana reduction. It would be nice with an open prefix/suffix though. If you have an open prefix you can craft (7-8)% of cold damage as extra chaos damage. If you have an open suffix you can craft 5% chance to deal double damage. Both of those provide huge boosts in damage (5% double damage translates to a 5% boost to your overall DPS, which is insane for a single craft on a shield). Helm: Good helmet, but it would be better with another base. You could also theoretically get increased ele dmg on it, but it's going to be hard to replace the one you have really. It's a good helm. Armour: The body armour needs to go. Either get a chest with critical strike on it, or get a Farrul's Fur. You will lose life by getting a Farrul's Fur, but you will have 100% uptime on Frenzy Charges, even out of combat which is incredibly good for quality of life. You will always move really fast. Along with that, you will be able to use Aspect of the Cat without reserving any mana, which allows you to get another herald. You will also get power charges. Gloves: Shaper's Touch with + frenzy would give you a huge damage boost, and also a little life. They will also give you accuracy, which you need since you aren't at 100% hit chance. Rare gloves can be worth it, but then you basically have to get +1 frenzy on the gloves, and then another +1 frenzy on the corrupt. Otherwise Shaper's Touch are just going to be better. They are also cheap now. Boots: Only one thing to say. Get the 10% elemental penetration enchant on them. It's insane how strong it is. You can farm it by getting Twice Enchanted prophecies and picking up the darkshrines so you can get Twice Blessed. That gives you 3 enchants per run, and there are only 16 possible enchants for boots. Again, I cannot emphasize this enough, this enchant is super strong. It usually ends up giving you a 7-8% DPS increase. That is seriously ridiculous for a single enchant on your boots. Amulet: The one you have is great. You can get more damage by using enchants with redeemer mods on them, but I think it's going to be super hard to replace the one you have. It's great. Rings: The rare ring is alright but could obviously be better. You can create really cool rings by rolling Curse on Hit on a shaper ring, and then cold damage per frenzy charge on a Redeemer ring, and then slam them together. Belt: It's a good belt. Really hard to replace. The jewel is also great. Flasks: A Bottled Faith would provide an insane damage boost, but it's also very expensive. I'll just put it out there anyway, so you know it's an option. You should craft the suffix that gives critical strike chance during flask effect on your diamond flask. You can get the recipe by unveiling a Cinderswallow Flask. Get Freeze Immunity on your life flask and then get a Fight for Survival with Corrupting blood immunity. Jewels: Corrupting blood on Fight for Survival. Don't know the stats you get from your Lethal Pride, but if you can get intimidate/double damage/crit multi on it then those are the best modifiers. In that order. Get a cluster jewel! Check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdZ7Q265yA8 Passives Get rid of: Revenge of the Hunted and the nodes you have placed to get there. The nodes near Primeval Force. The evasion, energy shield, life and resistances Get rid of Heart of Oak This will give you 10 skill points Use these skill points to get these cluster jewels: Socket them at the bottom part of the tree, where you get evasion. If you have don't plan to use Farrul's Fur, you should get "Stormrider" instead of "Blast-Freeze". You also want to get Depth Perception ASAP. Like mentioned earlier, you don't have 100% hit. That is a bigger deal than you might think. Since it is within range of your Lethal Pride you can possibly get something extra on it as well. Skills Get your Frost Blades setup to max level on the gems, and get quality on them. If you get Farrul's Fur, you can replace culling strike. I would also say that you might need to disable precision, but considering your Watcher's Eye jewel, that might be a bad idea. You might be better of skipping HoP and instead leveling up your precision. This will help you cap your hit. You will lose life by doing some of these changes, but I think they are worth it. How is your playstyle? Sometimes the issue can be that you are being too careful. It's incredibly important to keep your fortify up by whirling through enemies. Bosses included. Also, use berserk whenever shit gets dangerous if you die a lot. Berserk also gives 20% less damage taken. Don't panic. |

" I would not craft on that claw. The redeemer mod is great, but you still need a lot of damage on it. I never craft on anything that doesn't already have a good physical roll on it. Don't panic. |

" Thanks for the response! I'll work on snagging a solid Claw and some nodes when I can. PoE enjoyer since 2011 (I don't use the forums/main subreddit) Editado por útlima vez por Realzameer#0258 en 8 abr. 2020 14:34:25

" The claw is insane. Not much to do there. Helmet gives you no damage really. It has great life and all, but I would try to get -9% to nearby enemies cold resist. You can get that from using a redeemer orb on it. Even if you fail, you will have a redeemer base that you can try to reroll until you get it. Pristine + Frigid will do the trick once you have the right base. Shield could have 15% reduced mana reservation. Would allow you to A: get another herald, or B: level your precision to max level. If you have an open prefix or suffix you can also craft cool modifiers on it. Prefix: gain 7-8% of cold damage as extra chaos damage Suffix: 4-5% chance to deal double damage Both of those provide lots of damage. Your amulet is good, but not great. You can get really cool ones by using redeemer exalts, but I think you want a better one than the one you are using currently for that. Same with rare ring. Good but not great. You can make redeemer + shaper rings that has both assassins mark and cold damage per frenzy charge. You get one of each base, roll Curse on Hit on one, and DMG per frenzy on the other, then slam them together with an awakener orb. I like the belt. Hard to replace. You have an open prefix on it though. Could slam a conqueror orb on it. Again, I would pick Hunter. All of the modifiers are really good, except the chaos damage. Replace your Atziri's Promise with Lion's Roar. I get that Lion's Roar might be annoying sometimes with the knockback, but the damage you get from it beats both Atziri's Promise and Taste of Hate. I would rather play with Blast-Freeze over Eye of the Storm. Blast Freeze is incredibly strong in encounters like the simulacrum. I also recommend getting rid of either Revenge of the Hunted/Disciple of the Slaughter/Thick Skin, and use the points you get on one of these instead. You can get more life from these, and if you're lucky you can get resists and all kinds of good stuff. Don't panic. |

" Thx for details. I haves shield have 15% reduced mana reservation. But he gives me 5000 lesser evasion rating. 5% double damage is better when 20000 evasion when prev shield? Editado por útlima vez por Extrimy#0139 en 8 abr. 2020 17:18:57

Hi, Can you take a look at my claw, I don't have any physical mod, but have these two tier 1 mod, which makes me hesitate to scour it.
And another question which I raised previously but it seems that you missed it, , I'm currently using this ring and a Shaper for curse. Should this be stronger than the Mark of the Elder. Obviously, the price of this ring is far more expensive (around 20-25ex), but is it worth? I got this dropped from map, so don't ask me why I buy it :D |
