I also have a problem with my survivability. I have decent gear imho and 4,6k HP with capped resistances. But it is still hard for me to farm Maps above T7/T8.

Ranged Mobs which attack fast are a huge problem. 90% of the mobs are no problem and the whole screen dies in 0-1 seconds but i am definitely dying more than i want and this is kinda frustrating.

It is also very hard to use the spells ancestral protector and frostbomb, because i am not attacking when i use them. and when i don't attack i usually die instantly.

whan can i improve?

For every person in the past 20 pages complaining about dying:

Get life on all your pieces (GOOD. ROLLS)
Get blind on hit somewhere
Use rumi flask
Stop using abyssus if you cant handle the extra incoming damage...
Cap resistances

Half of you are running around with 4k life, low dps so low leech and non capped resistances or abyssus’

Your gear good enough to farm red maps deathless.
You didn't ascend to Versatile Combatant, its crucial for mapping, drop blind node and link blind support to protector.
You also may link curse and frostbomb to lvl1 CWDT, and replase frostbite with enfeeble on hard map affixes.
You also can try to take 1 life leech node in talent tree, it may help if you forget to use blood rage or have flask management issues.

Ive been struggling to survive with this build. Can anyone give me some tips?

I think i should leach more, nodes? items?

Also need more life, where from?

Any help would be appreciated!

A few things i did to greatly boost my survival in this build.

1) i choose not to use Abyssus, got a high life stakonja instead.(any rare helmet with 90+ life and 60+ resists will do, maybe with reave dmg)
2) i make sure to be atleast 85+ in all resists.
3) Tombfists boost survival with the blind abyss jewel blind.
4) I changed the skill tree a tiny bit, just south of the big HP cluster that we only get 2 nodes in. Here i inserted a might of the meek jewel, which boosts all nodes in range, then i took the 3 or 4 nodes towards JUGG start, as they were then 8% armor and 7% life each. Sadly i had to remove flask duration.
5) Playstyle, this is not you standard tank and spank build, it's far too squishy, take great advantage of the 8 stack reave range with foils. it's HUUGE.
6) HP rolls on gear is basically your most important stat.
7) Additionally, Blood rage and vaal pact is generally annoying to play with. As a result i do not use it 100% of the time. Currently tho, i have the 3 leech nodes and not vaal pact to try it out, as the null regen is to annoying with blood rage.


Lastly i am trying out not playing with the frostbomb decurse cold resis. I often play with other people who rely on warlods mark to stay alive, so i cannot curse that much. So i have changed a few gems so that i now run with increased duration+VAAL impurity of ice - this completely ignores enemies cold resistance for 5 seconds, upon use. My stat stick is cold dmg 37%, and with TOH it gives great burst, at 1 less gem.

Finally i've tried out herald of fire, hatred, and arctic armour, however a level 3 enlighten is not enough for me to play with comfortably. So for now, i just have both inserted and i can change on arctic, and shut off herald for situational purposes.

I cant see your weaopon.

And when it comes to melee builds never ever expect to farm yellow without less than 200c budget and
farm red less than 300-400c budget even if the build title says very cheap budget friendly season starter bla bla bla....

Stat stick should be with "x% phys as EXTRA ele dmg", not convert.

If you can't afford it, better take another Scaeva.

How good should rare sword be to be upgrade over scaeva? Does attack speed of the rare weapon matter or just go for pdps? Edit: just found an inpulsa so I have 100-150c to spend on the sword. What excatly I should look for? Just go for highest pdps I can afford?
