[3.17] For Slayer / Champion - Ngamahu Cyclone / Consecrated Path / Tectonic Slam
Thoughts on the new bestiary mechanics + slayers culling strike?
It seems kinda bad |

" I believe it is an oversight on GGG's end and it is possible that they will work out a solution on that. It just doesn't make sense that they will want to lock any particular build out of a new league. But I could be wrong. EDIT: Yep. Looks like changes to the mechanics will happen soon: " Exceprt: " Editado por útlima vez por kira1414 en 3 mar. 2018 4:51:01

Kira, will you update the guide with the pros/cons of each different ascendancy?

" Good call over there. I shall do that but off my head: Slayer: " Scion: " Chieftain: " |

" Dude what are you smoking? Unwrap it first! First off, Onslaught is a modest buff, if that. 20% increased AS and movement isn't 200% MORE DPS. Jesus. What even. You're looking at about 6.5% more. Second, Slayer has a notable sum of increased life leech. Pair that with VP and you can see around a 300% increase. That means you get that life back 3x faster. That is everything in a boss fight, especially for melee where you have to essentially stick to your target. You can't hit and run like an archer. The overleech aside, Slayer will still likely give you better dps and survivability in end game boss fights where your leech return is basically the determinant to whether you die or not. Without it, no matter how sturdy you are, you will have to kite A LOT. You can't do damage when you're running away. Champion is quite good. It has a lot of sturdiness and now kicks out slightly more damage than Slayer if you factor in Worthy Foe's buffs, but the lack of leech mechanics really hurts it. Both classes are quite good, but I'd still give it to Slayer just because running on 40% increased life leech compared to 280% is a BIG difference. That's also no accounting for the steady life pool you have banked at basically all times. Then the bleed immunity comes in handy as well. One less thing to worry about. The veracity of your statements leaves MUCH to be desired. Deliver pain exquisite

" Bronn's is a linchpin. It kicks out insane damage. And you won't be moving that much faster with QOFT anyway. You need lots of shenanigans to max it's movement speed (cough Grace cough). Fully optimized, you can get about 70% movement speed and mow everything down you pass through. Which is plenty. QoTF would see you drop about 20% more damage. Not to mention the cost of beefing up it's movement speed gimmick by feeding it evasion. It's a no-go. Deliver pain exquisite

Just did uberlab with this gear and gonna farm it now. Was easy!

How important ist 6 Socket Ngamahus? It is quite expensive right now, are 5 Sockets okay too?
|
|
Shure. U will do less dmg compared to 6S, but who cares.
"Remember how A1 Merveil dropped 2 scrolls of wisdom and nothing else? That's how T15 bosses work.
If you were expecting a reward proportional to the difficulty and effort invested, you best take your ass back to a MMO." casval776 |

" Congrats to your Uber lab clear. :) If you feel you needed more life, you can consider switching Carnage Heart to a rare amulet with high life roll. ______________________________________________________________________________ " 6 sockets is crucial. Missing 1 socket is close to losing 40% damage on your molten balls. You can just buy any Ngamahu (410 pDPS and 11% attack speed preferred) and try to get 6 sockets yourself. |
