Have you got capped resists? I haven't got capped fire res and I do fire dmg aswell on my wand (where the fire dmg is also boosted by elemental dmg overall), so it might be that one. I do get hurt even with flasks activated. I'm having a CWDT-setup which procs all the time in ele refl maps.

Normally it works ok to outleech the incoming dmg, but suddenly I get a damage spike which eliminates the life bubble in a sec :D

Could try a map and see if I use a fire resistance flask or a wise oak to see if that helps out.

some flat ele dmg on your wand shouldnt be the problem you should still do 90% or so lightning.
i cant make out the math behind it but with 60k or so evasion i survived reflect situtations im used to instantly dying on most other chars normally

Question on rings.

So I've obtained 2 Opal rings finally with 25% elemental damage. Would it be better to craft with Essence of Torment for the flat lightning damage or Essence of Wrath for the % lightning?

ATM I'm using this but short on resist cap. Hoping to hit all res on one of the Opals I plan to craft and mid tier cold res on other.

Question about Herald of Ice.

Why is it linked to Onslaught? It makes it reserve more mana and Onslaught procs very infrequently, so far for me only on very weak mobs.

That's the Thing. You relied on the Accu. Roll on Piscator's.
And you will, if you want more Damage have to replace the wand, therefore also Ring's or Amulet or get a Shield with Accu.

Go for Flat Lightning.
There are not many good Prefixe's and you kinda want to hit Accu. and Resists which are Suffixes.

Onslaught is a bonus, i can easily sustain it while mapping.
If you can't then you are simply not good geared enough.

You can link your Herald with whatever you like or just use it as a 3 Link.

Thanks! I crafted it myself. Actually didn't want the Accuracy since already have plenty from other gear, really wanted some Resistance but guess this will be my 1 piece without resists.

Used about 25 Deafening/Shrieking Essence of Torment before annulling the wrong mod and ending with Flat Lightning and T1 Life.

Gear looks solid, switch jade flask for diamond and crit. strikes for crit. damage.

Wand nodes should be nr. 1 prio Drop Throatseeker and Crackling Speed.

And again and always check for better upgrade's on trade.

I usually bought a new ring or jewel when i felt like i need some satisfaction :3

And to clearify, the only thing's i bought in standart was the +2 Rat's Nest.
Right after they nerfed the Frot wall interaction.

The Diamond Ring (for 2ex) and a Jewel that had Life, Crit. Multi. and Attack Speed (exalted attack speed on it).

The rest has been bought in temp. league's.
So no "ugh standart character bla bla bla" ;)

Hi again Toma_Hawk, big ups for trying to respond to everyone, comes with the territory of a popular build eh ;) Anyways to my quick question if you have a moment please - given I am lvl 87 and got most of my passive tree as per the guide - I have not touched either of the wand clusters nor Throat seeker cluster. I realise your tree is for lvl 100 so what would you recommend to prioritise - should I be dropping Written in Blood cluster for wand nodes ? You said to hit the wand nodes last but I am just wondering out of those 3 cluster what to hit first.

My wander is named Vithara under my profile.
