Cant you just drop phys to light gem now if you take the 2x20%=40% phys->cold nodes?
Vinktar 10%, quiver 50%, nodes 40% and you are set or am i missin something? P2L is a pretty weak gem if you dont profit from the conversion.
how we gonna leech with vinktar then? lets say vinktar converts our 10% phys damage to light, you'll leech 20% of it, which is 2%
isn't having 50% converted light damage and leeching 20% better which equals to 10%(5x more?)
this build has no dps problem, our problem is establishing a good survivability and flask sustainability. thats why we dont make this build with raider.
Cant you get enough flat dmg on gear?
Didnt know damage is no problem, i thought you need really good jewellery etc. for it. I only play leagues and not std so for a first build its a possibility i guess. And with the reduced reflect damage taken you might not need that much leech anymore.
Guess i wont start it, pretty unreliable to push ladder playing a completely new build :P
Was just excited the build got changed in a big way.

the flat damage you get from gear is nothing compared to converted damage. lets say you have 300 dps bow, and 200% phys damage on tree & items:
900 dps - convert to 50% light --> 450 average light damage: do you think you can get 450 flat light damag on anywhere? (you can get maximum 100 average) on top of that, flat wed from doesnt get buffed by all gems in our setup while phys damage(which we will convert) and therefore the converted damage gets buffed by every gem we use.
please also note that, with better bows the difference gap gets bigger and bigger. /my bow is 600 pdps, 200% phys makes it 1800 phys damage, 50% of it is simply 900 flat light damage. and that 900 gets buffed again with every gem i have on the 6l setup. (this is extreme example)
second note: phys to light enlarges the dps pool by adding 20% of physical damage as lightning damage too.

I dono, 10% less reflect is still quite more than enough to one shot yourself.

of course you dont use full ele, full dps modes/gems while mapping dude. we are talking about boss fights.

Ive got the feeling only STD players are playing this build xD
I certainly wont be able to get a 600 dps bow first week of the league.
Also no gg endgame mirrored rings/amu.
Guess i go spark, is probably just as fast with 10% of the investment with a necro support anyway.

Eh? People swap stuff out to be only 50% conversion during maps? o.O

can you elaborate on that? I made a comparison on the last page between raider and pathfinder and I don't see why it's survivability would be less.
Also, I asked why we use chain (instead of slower proj, fork, etc.) is it because our pierce chance is not high enough to justify it or some other reason?
I haven't build it out perfectly yet so excuse my ignorance.

Here is a tentative new tree (take VP if non legacy vinktar)
https://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAABAIAAAHRBfkIiQ5IDlwPqw_EES8RUBGBFHUV1xa_GYoZ1xqPGyUdTyF2JIsknST9KgsrCiy_LR8wWzB8Mfo1uTfUOdQ7fEQNRX5JUUmxS65Ms1BCUUdTNVZjVvpbr11oXfJfamJaY6dq-m0ZbWxwUnb3d9d4-X7dfyt_xoTFhq6GzonTjDaNuY_6kyeVBZUglwaa8Zsmm7Wgn6EioS-iQKKjpMKnK6fUrTOv67VIuMq-Or6KwQDBM8HFwfPDOsSiyPDKqdAf0NDTftfP2VvdRt-Y51TndOkC62PsGO0_7g7veu-I7-vw1fT49Uv22vk3-wn9bv7I_94=
Load this in the new OFFLINE poe tree planner.
TLDR: It seems we've gotten decent damage buffs for "free" due to the tree changes. Also there's a trick with a specific jewel I might want to try in the near future. :x
We dodged another patch boys. Rejoice. Reach got destroyed (rip in council), death's opus the new "budget" oriented bow. With brief testing with old tree, it's hitting decent results.
This build is more than 2.6 viable, it literally will be stronger than it's ever been. Crazy.
Cheers!
Hmm, not taking an extra Power Charge this time round?
As of right now no, it's a tentative tree though, that being said I'm quite happy with it.

Hi, I was wondering if there is any leveling version for this build?
I just got back to PoE recently and had a lot of reading to go through
