Whenever I see people purchasing shoes for that much I just think "why?". What functional purpose is there to buying a $300 over a pair of say $50 shoes? Hell I've never spent more than $30 on a pair of sneakers. The highest was steel-toed boots & that was like $70.

Ive spent that much on shoes, many, many times. Why? Because i like to flex on plebs.

300$ is nothing, attack the 15000$ NIKE Red Octobers if you want to get into it

E: Fashion aside, I can confirm 300$ vintage J's are 10x more comfy than a pair of 50$ Payless beaters

Same logic goes into currency in videos games... Like why spend?

Except it's not the same. Purchasing a video game is like buying a pair of shoes.

Purchasing a overpriced pre-purchase pack for a video game is like purchasing a 300$ pair of shoes.

Frivolous. Unneeded. Adjectives.

Doesn't matter how it comes packaged you get what you pay for... Hmmm lets see my own private hospital room or setting next to Mary screaming, "what is that?"

First, how does purchasing shoes allow you to "flex on plebs". Second, $15,000 shoes are a thing?.... just...what. I don't even know anymore
I barely made 17.5k this year...

That's exactly what I'm trying to understand. What does purchasing a pair of $300 shoes get you over purchasing a pair of $50 shoes?

Like anything else you buy in life mate, quality and scarcity. In terms of comfort and durability , the more expensive, generally speaking, are better. In terms of showing off, the runs with less availability tend to go for more and be more desirable by the subset of people who are into this kind of stuff. It might mean jack shit to you, but when I spot a guy wearing a pair of 2000$ boosts I can tell he's got good taste and knows what's up. Not all of them are rich, some of them are just genuinely THAT into it.

Ive always wanted a pair of Back To The Future Air Mags, at 9000$ theyre a steal!!
