You are talking about the Sanctuary wheel, yes its 5% block, but I get another jewel socket in the way to VP, so its only 3% + the potential benefits from the other affixes from the new jewel socket (life, dmg, etc). Potentially for late game we can get a lazhwar corrupted with block, so we would sit at roughly the same block value depending on the lazhwar, then by level 94 if you wanna go that far and minmax, we can get 2 extra jewel sockets, near MoM and near VP's old placement.

So all in all not a big deal, the sanctuary wheel wasn't very efficient to begin with, so dropping it doesnt have much impact.

Is Cybil's paw still BiS? Wouldn't a nice wand with lots of spell dmg, added flat damage and maybe projectile speed be at least as good?

Edit: Never mind. I just got vaal pact and I can tell I really want the life gain on hit ;)

I am playing this build now, and I changed the tree a bit. Below is my plan. With same keystones and block passives, but change routes at templar / marauder side. The main difference is I go through Foresight to MOM and go to marauder part from below. I think it is more effecient.

Ah, right I forgot that part.

So I decided to try firestorm instead of glacial cascade for the CWDT level 1 setup. God damn i underestimated the potential of firestorm with this setup.

Here's the result

I think there are 3 really good options for the 5 link
1. Fire Pen -> 30+ more dmg
2. Iron will -> no mana multiplier + 40 Spell dmg and ~300 str + 60% increased dmg to about 100% increased dmg total
3.Faster Casting -> gets multiplied by Echo and faster stacking and better regen from cybil´s

I think if u pick Vaal Pact it should be worth to get charisma to squeez in discipline aura for a great boost in survivability.

My favourite is fire pen, vs resist mobs it will do much more, specially stuff like big packs of legacy of zeal mobs and stuff like that, resist aura mobs etc.
