A question.
As my own incinerate build based on your build is still great fun, I've reached the point where I can use level 7 master crafting, which raises an obvious question. One of your rings has +23 INT crafted on it, for a 4.6% increase to ES. Were you prevented from crafting Elreon's 5-20% increased ES modifier on the ring, which would seem to be the best crafting option if it functions globally as I expect, or does that modifier only function locally on the ring? (In which case it sure is priced too highly! I'm not yet rich enough to easily afford testing whether the modifier is local or global, but hope you can explain your reasoning. Greetings!
The ring cannot have another prefix, so I cannot craft that onto it. If it is a global modifier, that would be a nice boost vs the pure int, especially with the 20%. ~Dy'Ness QBotU_DyNess - www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1171890

Since your not using it was due to prefix issues and not due to knowing that it wouldn't work, I decided to venture one third of my carefully hoarded exalted orbs on determining the answer for sure, and it is this:
It gives Increased Maximum Energy Shield%, and is thus the best crafting option by far for rings for high ES builds (and for amulets that don't have the modifier already)... and my Moonstone FireDam%/MaxES/FireRes%/LightRes% ring just turned into something truly awesome. I was wondering if you can go over the levelling process a little? I presume you will have to level with health nodes/more traditioanlly. This means many regrets to spec out or a lot of nodes presumably?
This build looks crazy and Id love to try it, but Id like to know what Im geting myself into currency wise etc. Cheers. |

Greetings!
Sadly, I cannot. I leveled this toon mostly based on this setup. I went CI early and had more damage in the early stages. Firestorm was initially supported by an Empower + Inc Duration + Fire Pen + Spell Echo + Conc Effect. It was quite deadly, but my regen was only sitting around 1200 and I died quite often. After a patch reset the skill tree, I decided to go for more tank, and this setup was built. However, I am posting a quote below to assist you. ~Dy'Ness " QBotU_DyNess - www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1171890

This is irreverent and mostly just a free bump.
You would gain a free 14 energy shield if you were witch, but you probably already know this. Awesome build. "ran out of high teir maps to leave on the ground - people kept taking the higher teirs" - Da Pagionator

If this jewel or this one survive the beta, the possibilities for making Dy'Ness tank build even more absurd should be plentiful.

Greetings!
I can see the Fragile Bloom being a big help. I shall try to track one or maybe two down. However, based on the wording, I think the Sturdy Growth would apply to flasks and life leech. ~Dy'Ness QBotU_DyNess - www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1171890

Life recovery applies to both life regen and flask recovery rate. It might also apply to leech recovery rate but its not tested.
