physical bows are under powered because the only people using them were rip queens with too many exalts and too little in game knowledge. yes im talking about the 567 dps one up for mirror. however, this gem makes ES/VP ST builds ridiculous.

If you have 200 physical damage and 2 attack per second, your DPS is 400 ok? with a 49% physical increase gem AND 10% reduced attack speed (still gem) you can obtain 200*1,49(gem)*1,8(aps) = 536 dps.

Now with added fire damage at level 20 you add 39% of physical as fire damage. So you gain 200*0,39(gem)*2(aps) = 156 dps as fire. Add these 156 to 400 physical DPS and you have 556 combined dps

So with added fire dmg you would have 3,59% more dps.

Even with say 100% more physical damage passives it should be the same: 200 physical damage with phys proj gem would become 200*2(100% passive)*1,49(gem)*1,8(aps) = 1072 dps

With added fire damage you would have 400*0,39(gem)*2(aps) = 312 fire dps. Added to physical dps which is 200*2(100% passive)*2(aps) = 800 you would have 1112 combined dps

So again with added fire dmg you would have 3,59% more dps.

Sure, faster attacks is better, but faster attacks is not the one you'll remove for this.

Hmm... In a ST + Added Fire + Faster Attacks + LMP + WED combo, this gem's probably better than just WED. Getting RGGGG will be hard tho :(
