It does. LS is a projectile skill and i think Chris even mentioned it in the Barrage preview video.

I made a thread asking if it does work. LS is a hard skill to determine what works with it because the projectile damage isn't hinted anywhere. The gem also doesn't lower the attack speed. I'm pretty sure it's bugged as of this moment.

Imo it's not bugged, as lightning strike is a melee attack that sends out projectiles and the support gem states 10% less projectile attack speed.

True there is no error in what the gem states and how LS works.

at some point you just have to call it path of exile, balance changes all the time, get over it noob

It's total crap this doesn't work with EK.

Since lightning strike is only 50% physical, I'm guessing the gem only applies to that portion of the damage and not the converted lightning, right? If that's the case this gem is kinda crap for lightning strike, only benefitting 50% compared to spectral throw.

this gem is remarkably powerful considering physical damage was already very strong before its existence.

i would encourage people not to get too attached.

physical bows are under powered because the only people using them were rip queens with too many exalts and too little in game knowledge. yes im talking about the 567 dps one up for mirror. however, this gem makes ES/VP ST builds ridiculous.

Due to how Converted Damage works, if it works on it at all (which I'm not sure of), it works on ALL of it.

All converted damage are affected by mods that would otherwise have affected the pre-converted damage.
