I am assuming you are reffering to 6L Frostbolt setup. I am afraid Vorici's bench is the only reasonable way. It does cost a bit depending on your luck I think this would be my last upgrade on the list, when rather availability of the item not currency is more important.

First of all, thx for the guide..looks more like a professional project than a videogame thing :)

I have a few questions.

I'm playing on Standard (PS4) so I don't have access to cluster jewels yet.
Should I have a look at the 3.9 PoB?

I'm leveling the Char but I've almost finished crafting and preparing the gear.
Manage to hit this pretty good Helm . Sooner or Later I'll try to get rid of the Hybrid and metacraft for higher life roll.

Anyway, regarding rings I have a choice between these 3 (all of them need to be meacrafted).
Which one you think is the best option?


The first and the second one would need to change anointment on the Pandemonious to allow a second curse. Between them I think that the Fire Res. one could be better cause I've rolled everywehre cold and light res and not fire and for the cold damage I'll use this belt

The Third one won't need Whisper of Doom anoint. and for what I've seen the Str roll could be helpfull to spare a passive point on the tree.
Where should I sink currencies between the 3?

Lastly..
Having a decent enchant on the helmet (hatred mana reserved) How about using Zealotry + Hatred with Skyforth to furter reduce the mana reserved? I Mean, is the Essence worm really inevitable?

Two methods, neither one is that bad:

1) If your chest is already 6-linked, use the 3 blue recipe from the crafting bench until you hit 4 blues. Use a T3 Vorici white socket bench and hope you hit one of your non-blues.

2) If your chest isn't 6-linked, use the 3 blue recipe from the crafting bench and then proceed to use the jeweller method. This isn't that bad, especially if you consider that I did it with a corrupted chest (THAT WAS A LOT OF VAAL ORBS).

I used the jeweller's orb method this league, although I have used vorici 1-3W in the past. You should NOT just spam "at least 3 blue" at bench, you'll just blow through many ex worth of chroms.

Fusings (and therefore jewellers) are crazy cheap right now, not sure why. It shouldn't cost all that much.

I would say no. I mean, you can see the EHP hit, especially if you are using 10% MoM clarity watcher's eye as you should be.

Getting 4 blues from a 3 blue benchcraft isn't that rare, to be honest, and some people hate re-6linking, despite the low cost of fusings.

Yeah that is not what I meant, 4B + vorici 1-3W is fine, I just meant you should not try to spam 3B until you get 5B1G.

Finished the push to 100 today and finalized the tree (some gear can still be upgraded): https://pastebin.com/xNYwKFUQ

Adding a third large cluster and socketing two very very good jewels comes out to ~200K DPS (unscaled, so more than 1mil DPS scaled probably) LESS than keeping the crit medium cluster, but it does give me 130ish more life. At this point, I don't care about dying and I don't do it very often anyway, so I'm opting to push the damage number higher. It also lowers my crit chance by quite a bit to go 3 large clusters, which makes me lose some utility with Flask Charge on Crit.

Now that I am 100, I'll do actual testing of Hypothermia vs. Conc Effect vs. Sirus (and the occasional Uber Elder/Aul I get hired for).

So I've stared at Rofls stream and decided to go for this build, did have some more questions and figured it was better to pile them up here:
I understand the basics of crafting a tailwind/elusive pair of boots, but since they are respectively a suffix and prefix, there's no easy way of crafting them right, it's just RNG whether or not you hit a decent second prefix?

Regarding the skilltree, do we use the "beginners/league starter" first and prioritize clusters for last?

Edit: Also for the boots, which of the two are most important, elusive or tailwind? If I cant imidiately get both of them I mean. (I like to have a plan b for when I inevitably screw up and lose my currency)
