Yeah - Check forum thread page 110. Arcinde and Roflcopter did a great analysis/breakdown already

Ah thanks, missed that conversation. Appreciate all the build conversation in here it's been very helpful.

With Conc. Effect we have an AoE radius of 29, without it Conc Effect it is 35.

I think this is why we are having different experiences; we have slightly different passive tree allocations. I'm at 35 AOE with Conc Effect, and I find it to be a sufficient AOE to get optimal overlap.

EDIT: At second glance, we should only have a 2 radius difference, which may be as low as 1 considering your higher mana pool. Why are you only at 29?

EDIT 2: I took a look at your PoB, and you're at 35 with Conc Effect. Is PoB's AoE Radius calculation off due to multiple rounding errors along the way or something?

Your actual AoE Radius should be nearly identical to mine. I've calculated a smaller number for several reasons:
(1) Based on my testing Ice Nova base radius is 26 (increasing to 31 with levels). Whereas PoB and Wiki assume base radius is 30 (increasing to 35 with levels), which I think is incorrect.
(2) If you are using LocalIdentity's fork it assumes that Pledge's AoE increase applies to Ice Nova and adds 50% increased area. This is not accurate as we now know.
(3) PoB's AoE Radius rounding is slightly off as I detailed in this post: https://old.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/fy2jy3/tested_various_game_mechanics_cold_conduction_aoe/

Fair enough. I'll do some testing with Hypo tomorrow to see how it feels as a primary bossing tool. My only concern is that the bosses don't usually allow you to stand at optimal distances anyway, so getting all 4 hits off regardless of the increased AOE afforded by dropping Conc Effect is unlikely.

Ah, I thought that might've been you when I originally found the thread. I'm actually really sad that the discord interaction with viperessence didn't pan out with the upcoming patch.

I added one of these clusters in lieu of the culling strike/unnerve cluster since I have those on my gloves already. It feels like the best alternative:

That's true. The increased area should help even if you're standing at suboptimal distances, though.

The crit cluster jewel looks decent but ultimately I don't think it is worth it. It would be better just to put a normal jewel there and spend the extra points elsewhere on the tree. I checked out your character (you have insane gear btw, lol), and in your case you could use those points to go for a third cluster jewel. https://pastebin.com/LVZaAnrA

Arc and Rofl I just want to thank you guys for all the hard work you guys put to test stuff, so lazy bums like rest of us can just sit back and enjoy the fruits of your work.
I just wanted to thank Arc and all the other contributors for this build, i never had this much fun with a build before :-) I constantly want to update it and seek out even more damage with the build! First time hitting lvl +93 and also first time playing a league this long with 1 character, lol :-D

TY for this great guide! First time I can trully grind endgame and my setup is not even done.

From Doryani i have this notable for 2 points
Soul Worship
(11)% increased maximum Energy Shield
0.3% of Spell Damage Leeched as Energy Shield

So my question is how significant is 0.3% leach here? Should be good for survivability but I am not sure.

Please help =)

If you've anointed your amulet with the Heart of Ice passive that gives 0.2% and it's nice, but not a game changer. Cinderswallow flask is better survivability for general mapping. For bosses it nice, but not going to save you if you can't dodge attacks/don't have life flask charges.
