01/05/2020 Update:
CTSabba mentioned this before, and I also seen more people doing this. Looks like taking the socket below Minion Instability is better than the socket below Pain Attunement by a huge margin. While +12% elemental damage leading to that socket is useless, +8% mana is not too hot either and you get three keystones (four if you go double curse) for your lethal pride rolls instead of one, and many more allocated nodes in the area to maximize the value of the jewel, +34 strength if you do double curse. This is without any question a straight-up upgrade and also give us a lot more fun to min/max our Lethal Pride. My current lethal pride now gives me 5% strength, 20% fire resistance, 20% armor, and 1 useless mod. It is just a handful orb of regrets but you will probably spend way more currency to re-roll your lethal pride via trading. I casually bought another one and got +2% life regeneration and +20 strength, which is better than +5% strength for our build. So you can see the chance to land 2-3 useful mods is definitely there! Just an update for people. You can definitely reroll Lethal Pride with divines. I'm not sure if it's cheaper to do it this way or to try and trade lethal prides to get different mods. It's going to definitely be a heck of a lot faster though. Cost me about 1ex in rerolls before I hit what I think is a pretty darn solid one. The number is 14799 btw incase you stumble across it.
(Keep in mind I have the dex node right here instead of the str because I'm running with a rare amulet) This one gives me: +20% to fire resistance, +20% increased armour, +20 strength. If I end up taking the str node right next to the dex one it'd give me 10% reduced extra damage from crits. The Whispers of Doom mod is useless though. I'm probably not going to reroll my Lethal Pride anymore since chances of hitting +20 str and +5% strength on the same roll has to be pretty rare. If I get bored of having money maybe I will lol. |

Hey, I saw in the animate guardian variant that you recommend changing the spectres to carnage chieftains.
Assuming I don't plan to use animate guardian, and that I decided to use projectile weakness instead of poacher's mark in any case, would changing spectres to carnage chieftains be worth it for the frenzy charges? or would they die too often? Also, in such a case should I use spectre linked with feeding frenzy and minion life? or keep the meat shield? |
