Are flask macros allowed?

At the moment I am have a mana issues and having a hard time fixing it with whats going on in my build. Somehow though, I found a flask that gives mana over 10secs, and works pretty well overall. It lasts 10 seconds and what I wanted to do is set up my mouse use a macro where it would press the flask every 10 seconds. Is this allowed?

TL;DR - I want to use a flask every 10secs, can I set up a macro for this

That's all I need to know, don't intend to be doing any of that stuff :) Its just that some people say its okay and is allowed, some say otherwise.. etc I wanted to contact support about it but not sure if its what I should be doing.

but how many people are actually still using some kind of flask macro w/o getting banned, you seen this in youtube and twitch all the time. and what if you have a gaming mouse that has built in macro or key press functions.

bottom line, rule is vague at best and there are so many ways around it. rest assured there are people abusing this to gain an unfair advantage over others

Better safe than sorry is what I always say :) and yeah I wanted to use the macro program on my mouse (Logitech g502)

The rule is not vague at all. GGG simply either don't care or can't afford to cracking down on policing. Just because no one sees you running a red light doesn't mean it is any less illegal.

Macros that generate more than one server side action per press of a button are not allowed.

A macro that types <enter>/hideout<enter> is allowed, as it is only one action.
In the same way a macro that logs you out is allowed.

However, a macro that pushes a button once every 10 seconds from a single press is not, as it is performing more than one server side action per button press (1 action every 10 seconds from 1 button press).
Macros that act automatically (like automatically logging out if you hit a certain hp threshold or using a potion, or the one you described that acts on a timer) are also not allowed.

Does this make sense?
