Auto-AFK is annoying. Please make it togglable in options.

Poe.trade and auto-afk is related. I understand that you don't experience it as self found, but many trading players do.

How so if the player is offline?

Many players listed as online on Poe.xyz will not reply to you because they are afk and since most of them do not bother to set /afk you have to wait at least 2 mins in case player is very busy. If he is away for 5 mins you get auto-afk notice so you can move to another offer.

Which is exactly my point. This auto-afk feature shouldn't be mandatory because some players are too lazy to use the tools we already had. Too lazy to set an afk message? Then you don't deserve to sell your crap. Period. It should be toggle-able for people who have absolutely no use for it.

As stated before, it saves time for buyer, there is no difference for seller.

Please allow this to be optional. If I alt-tab for 4 minutes to read the forums I am NOT afk.

I was never AFK, nor did I want the afk feature to be turned on. This is beyond annoying...

I think there should at least be a way to set the timer for afk mode. But being a chronic afker myself I can see the frustration from buyers when I wake up in the morning to 30 whispers from people trying to buy stuff. It's not because I'm an ass, I just legitimately forget to shut my PC down.

Auto-afk was a step in the right direction ,IMO. But 5 minutes is a little silly for people that aren't necessarily dedicating 100% of their attention to the game whenever their computer is on.

An Auction House or an actual Merchant Mode like in Wakfu/Ragnarok Online. Set a Buyout price,etc...
