How can meat eaters feed and breed something just to eat it? Growing plants and eating them is easier than growing plants, feeding them to something else that has to grow and be killed and cooked in order to eat it sounds like a hassle.[/quote]

I have to agree with you there commercial meat production is very inefficient and bad for the environment, but meat tastes good. Its especially rewarding if earn what one eats such as shooting a deer or catching a fish, this also dosent suffer from the same inefficiency as commercial agriculture.
