[3.1] GLADIATOR 1H+Shield Max Block&Spell Block Tank + a BoR version
Serge, what about jewel? Since i am using only 1 slot for it, want to get really good one.
Just bought this: Pretty sure inc. life must have on it, what about dps stats? Is phys. dmg/melee dmg equal to AoE dmg or attack speed in terms of improving damage? Editado por útlima vez por Sattarqt#4012 en 2 abr. 2016 5:26:35

" You're doing one MAJOR mistake, which is using a weapon with elemental damage. You want to use a weapon with as much PHYSICAL damage as possible. I would recommend buying a cheap leveling unique. There is absolutely no point in investing into gear at level 45 more than buying a leveling unique, which cost about 1 alchemy orb. I would recommend buying something like Flesheater: http://poe.trade/search/harinokinomosi or Clayshaper: http://poe.trade/search/umgagitanatedo or otherwise, try to find a rare weapon with high physical damage: http://poe.trade/search/simamokosazuak (sort them by cheapest by clicking on the currency icon and the look at the "pDPS" number: you want as high as possible for as little currency as possible. Just don't buy a dagger or a claw! You can use a mace or an axe.) Also, Infernal blow is not that good for leveling, you're better off using Ice Crash or Earthquake, then using infernal blow at levels 60+. 1H+Shield High Block&Spell Block Tank: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/868995

" That is a good jewel, yes. Attack speed is just as good as physical damage for all skills except Earthquake. If you're using Eartquake, you want only physical damage + life. 1H+Shield High Block&Spell Block Tank: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/868995

Reporting in. Currently im lvl88 PHC, invested around 10ex for gear, really in love with the build, super comfortable to play.
Gear
Using rallying cry for almost all maps with exception for "monsters immune to curses" mod, using enduring in that case to generate end. charges. Wondering if i should buy Taste of Hate instead of basalt flask, because i am a bit worried about boss fights where boss can hit really hard and somehow i wont block this hit. Hi there,
I decid to run a full block build after few death on HC perandus, I also decid to go varunastra, wich seems to be a good combo with block build. I'm atm building around BoR saving some currency in order to buy later a 5 or 6L chest + helm. So far not so much problem, I run map T12, the only fear I got come from volatilblood / stormblood. Anyway, I have a question about block / block cap and overcap. Everyone here is running with "the anvil" and I'm not sure to understand why that seems sooo mandatory. I will explain my situation and my thought. I have with aegis + tempest shield a total of 67% block, that make the capblock reach with the ascendency classe when I got hit. I don't understand why we would need to be overcap from this, and I'm not sure that the 3% more cap block from the anvil is worth the amu slot. Also I'm in this situation that my amu give me 59 int (yeah ^^) and it's like impossible to change it if I would like to, also my amu give me lot more dps than the anvil (I think). In that case I let BoR away for a chest I'll loose 6% block, but I can get it back taking the sanctuary nod (+5%). those nod also give more ES / armor from shield and help with res, leting open the amulet slot for more flexibility. Okay so now I see some of you speaking about overcaping block and stuff like this that I really don't understand, am I skiping something huge in my though, or it's just up to me choosing between nod / amu / flexibility and so? Thanks and sorry for my bad english. |

" That skill is horrible, I really wouldn't recommend using it. It's 100 times worse than Eartquake, the current best melee skill. 1H+Shield High Block&Spell Block Tank: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/868995

Hello!
I'm using a Gladiator and EQ, lv.54, Standard Perandus this is my skilltree, and this is my equipement:
Spoiler
I was following a guide but now I'm not anymore because it required too many uniques and I have just started. Do you think this skilltree is good? How would you improve it? I tried to take all the endurance charges, and as many defensive skills as I could, aswell as offensives and jewel slots. Also I would take the STR points instead the nodes at the start, to save some points in order to take more useful stuff, even if I currently have taken the nodes in the starting area aswell(I will have to regret them); so, what do you think? Hey ComeradeSerge,
what about your character in perandus league.... ICE TRAP? any guide soon? IGN:Sirdec

Best enchants for this build gloves, boots, and helm. Helm would be one of the Earthquake ones if that is what you are running, but how about the other two slots.
