Orb of Fusing

Can someone explain what benefit you get by using these (Orbs of Fusing).
I know that you can link the gems in your gears but what are the advantages of this.

U have a supporter pack and a level 51 character. U don`t know how support gems work É

Ok im 99.9 % sure this is a troll but ill bite.

U link support gems to active skill gems to boost them. The more linked slots on gear the more u can buff the skill.

without knowing the ingame details you surely get stuck at some point in the game or make mistakes which you regret later. there is a nice thread about the game's mechanics (most things are still up to date) which you should read before you try to get to level 60.
