Imagine if you wrote something like this to give to your boss. "Hey boss! I've got some great work coming VERY SOON. Stay tuned!" Then you ghost him/her for 10+ days.

You would be in front of HR immediately - if they could find you

We have close to 30 pages of nothing in an empty threat. Just as planned? Why even announce this it in the first place?

We are getting a new mechanic unique to PoE2 this season if i had to guess.
I bet something went wrong and we know druid issues were resolved.
Lets just hope there will be no delay and we actually get the patch on the 5th

If someone has the misfortune of having a boss to work for, and told them that "Yup we're on track for a Decemeber release. We'll let you know ASAP when we know when we have a release review set up! It's gonna be soon!"

..and they ended up infront of the HR in 10 days after that, I'd say that's a pretty awful workplace to be at and I'd consider the options of changing workplaces. Using HR to threaten employees when they don't set up a release review fast enough sounds completely wrong and unprofessional.

That being said, the announcement phrasing the stream date coming "very soon" is obviously off. Should have just said we'll release the stream date later within a couple of weeks but are on track with the December release. It's a communication mishap and those happen. Should learn from it and move on.

Personally I am glad they announced that the release is in December. Knowing these things as much in advance as possible is good for me since I'll def plan my winter holidays to overlap some with the release. So if they had now stated that the release is going to be delayed a bit to early January, I'd just started my winter holidays from New Year's eve.

I'm glad too, a Jan release would be worse case as mine reset in Jan and i still got 19 days to use by Jan. So i booked basically December off.
