Why PC has the ability to bind Blink to weapon swap but Console doesn't?

Title is the question:

Why PC has the ability to bind Blink to weapon swap but Console doesn't?

Elaborate what do you mean exactly? I have blink on set 2 weapon only and it works fine.

Have to set blink to weapon 2 only. But set all other skills to weapon 1 only. And every time you get a new wand or staff you have to reset them.

It is not possible on console, blink doesn't show the weapon set choice option like other skill gems. Or am I missing something?

I noticed the same thing. You can allocate the spirit to work on weapon set two but not the skill itself. I have to use my curse to change over to weapon set two and then use blink.

It is extremely clunky though and it is not fair that when PC has the ability but console doesn't

You're missing something. I'm on PS5 and i've set blink on weaponset 2. ON the skill menu i press square and it opens a new menu with I and II numericals. I turn on blink on II and that's it.

And then to use the Blink first you have to change your weapon with swap weapon otherwise dodge roll will never blink and keep rolling.

On PC they can set it with skill bind and seamlessly swap weapon by just pressing Blink without the need to use weapon swap button.

In short on console players have to use 3 buttons to Blink with second weapon set (swap>Blink>swap) but on PC players can Blink with just 1 button (Blink).

Not sure what the last comment is about, pressing 3 buttons? I use a curse to swap which is instantly and to swap back i just continue attacking, both happen instantly. 1: allocate blink to set 2 in the spirit menu, 2: use a curse that’s also set to weapon set 2, 3: bind your main offensive skill to weapon set 1 only. There you go. Curse > blink > attack, all within 1 sec
