PS5 Needs Better Optimization

GGG Sold us all a a console game that dont run on console

Just had back to back Freezes in a Breach. Couldnt open menu or anything. Had to close the game out both times, upon opening the game the second time I got the fog of war bug, so uninstalling and reinstalling now. Anyone else have an issue with the game totally freezing up lately?

Wasnt an issue for me until the patch. On PS5

Over 200 hours into the game, endest of Endgame is a laggfest

Not the OP but I also don't get much lag and get consistent 60fps. Here's my post about my settings:

Those settings will not give you a consistent 60fps experience. In fact, you can use bilinear scaling with the worst resolution possible and still not get 60fps in town on a PS5 Pro.

If you pause during combat and open the Options menu, you’ll see your actual frame rate, and that you’re CPU limited. (Your TV might report 60 at all times if you’re under the VRR window.)

The problem is significantly worsened by playing in couch coop with a minion, flame wall or similar build, but even solo it’s not consistently 60fps in pretty much any scenario with a healthy amount of mobs on screen, especially in outdoor maps.

I mean you don't even need to get into endgame for the cracks to show. Just look at how act 2 performs and you know that the issues run deeper than endgame being too demanding.

I hope Digital Foundry or a similar Channel makes an in-depth test about this so whenever someone like you comes here and spreads false information, you can be easily proven wrong!

There are many, many people, even on the PS5 pro who have stated performance issues!
