Where is the map stash tab?

I've tried searching for information as to why there are no map stash tabs in poe 2 and cannot find a single thing about it.

I do own a map stash tab in POE1, all of my other relevant tabs transferred over to POE2 but there is no map stash tab. There are also none to buy on the store when I looked.

So right now I'm putting them in quad tabs. So what's the deal? Am I missing something here?

but why? does everyone else have one? There wasn't even one to buy on the store in poe2 so it's just not in the game? Is there something replacing it?

they arnt called maps anymore. they are now waypoints. paid for tab incoming im sure.

ya I see that, but I'm just surprised that there is no tab for them. I thought maybe I was missing something. Just wanted to make sure I'm not the only one without a map stash.

Literally, if you select "show unsupported tabs" in the stash, it becomes clear that the map tab will be added next. It even has different wording compared to the others "this tab is unavailable" for all tabs, but for maps, it says "this tab will become available soon."
